Hi there, sorry somehow this thread slipped past me! I have noticed a few and will go on a blocking spree tonight. However you can also click on ‘report members’ and I will get an email notification to block that person!
June 26, 2015 at 6:28 pm #7809I think it may only work if the person clicks on ‘reply’ on your post, not just replying to the thread.
This is a pretty big change so might not be an overnight thing, but definitely keen to include it in the next update.
June 25, 2015 at 4:37 pm #7783Hey guys,
Thanks for letting me know about this. There is a checkbox under the emoticons that says ‘Notify me of follow-up replies via email’ – is this not working for you?
I can look into implementing a feature in the next upgrade which allows you to follow posts without having to reply!

May 7, 2015 at 2:26 pm #6446Thanks for drawing my attention to this! I have looked into it and think I have a solution, but I will try to update late tonight to make sure there are no disruptions.
May 2, 2015 at 7:47 pm #6159Welcome to the forum! I am your friendly tech support and spam blocker!
The easiest way to change your profile picture is to go to the top right hand corner which should say ‘Howdy, Jawa11’ and then from there Profile > Change Profile Picture.
Here is a screenshot if it helps:
Feel free to post in the support forum if you have any other questions!

March 16, 2015 at 9:52 pm #2819What is this, and why is it so big? Lol
Thanks for the heads up about this, odd glitch where a ‘badge’ used in testing resurfaced and started randomly awarding itself to users haha. Have fixed it now I believe.

Thanks for your suggestions, as was alluded to, the idea was to get the forum up and running and then start a list for “V2” We are using different software than many other forums, however there is certainly a lot of flexibility to add new things in response to feedback!
For the mean time, you do have the option to ‘Mark All As Read’ within a sub forum (such as ‘New Members’ etc), but I can definitely look into extending this forum-wide at some stage.
Cheers

Quick update ~ I ended up crashing out about 1am yesterday as I’d been at it since 8am! However, it looks like I have found a solution to this problem that is working fine in testing.
It should be an easy fix however I will be doing it tonight around 1am in order to minimise any of the inconvenience on users Therefore there may be a period at this time where users get a ‘maintenance mode’ screen temporarily. Sorry guys!
In the meantime, if you do experience this issue, I suggest trying the following in order:
1. Clear your caches in your browser & make sure Javascript is enabled (usually under Settings or Preferences, should be enabled by default but this needs to be ruled out as the source of the problem).
2. If it does not work, try using [ img ] tags (without the space) instead temporarily.
3. If it still doesn’t work, try uploading files as attachments instead. They must be <500kb.
Hope that works as a stop gap until I can get this stuff sorted for you! I’ll be busy today so not quite as able to keep on top of things until the evening, but I will do my very best.

March 3, 2015 at 12:04 am #1581Hi Andy,
Welcome to the forum and sorry it’s glitching on you. Seems to be an exclusive club of you & 2 others experiencing the issue, but it’s my #1 priority!
In the meantime I can update the pics in your posts for you.

March 2, 2015 at 8:15 pm #1330Don’t do Facebook and don’t have photo bucket … Can’t this be more moron friendly hahahaha
Can you resize your pictures? If they are smaller than 500kb you can upload them
March 2, 2015 at 8:14 pm #1327Hi, as Kal said, in order to keep the bandwidth under control we’ve unfortunately had to put a limit on attachment sizes which is 500kb per image. So if your picture is smaller than that you can upload, otherwise if you click on the picture icon in the ‘visual’ editor you can link to an external picture, such as photobucket

March 2, 2015 at 8:04 pm #1319As Gary said, not a pain at all, it is good to know these things!
I have fixed the smiley issue for future posts.
As for the other problems, I’m having a bit of trouble diagnosing as it all seems to be working fine on Safari for me. At the moment because there’s so much traffic to the site (awesome!) I’m hesitant to run any tests, going to wait until much later tonight and then see if that gives me any help.
Sorry about the wait but I’ll keep working on it. Cheers!
March 2, 2015 at 6:31 pm #1227Hi Michael,
This is Georgie, Gary’s daughter and the person who built the website
There shouldn’t be a problem with Macs on the whole, the site was built on my Macbook so not sure why there’s a few glitches for you. What browser are you using? Is it that they are not opening at all? I’ll try giving it a whirl so I can work out why the buttons are giving you strife.
Using the “insert/edit image” in the ‘Visual side <img id=”__wp-temp-img-id” src=”http://s25.postimg.org/xeh89nten/image.jpg” alt=”TEST” width=”800″ height=”600″ /> TEST
I was able to get the same error by clicking on the visual tab, inserting the image, and then going back to the text tab and clicking submit. If you just use the visual tab and submit, does this fix the issue?
Tried copy and pasting the embedded link from youtube. Still no difference. What I get when I attach a image using the “img” button on the ‘Text’ side <img src=”http://s25.postimg.org/xeh89nten/image.jpg” alt=”TEST” />
Embedding the link from youtube won’t work because for security purposes all HTML code is disabled and just appears in plaintext. I think this may also be why the img code on the text editor is throwing up that code.
On the whole my advice would be to try forgetting the text editor is even there and just using the visual editor and see if that helps! In the meantime I will look into the button issue for you.
