    next question

    are the fuel return/supply lines that are clipped into the body that run between the fuel tank and engine, the same between VY V6 and VX V8 (size)

    Ive just got a VT-VY 296mm front setup my VS

    Front calipers were second hand out of a pretty low k car, and the rear is live axle so i was pretty limited there with options so i had the stock size rear calipers recondition

    i fitted DBA Slotted front Rotors- the VS upgrade ones so there is no spacer needed for the hub, Bendix General CT pads front and rear and braided hoses instead of the standard rubber ones, also front and rear which included the rear one that runs between the diff assembly and the car itself

    that setup works well for day to day driving, the only thing im thinking of doing is a VT-VY Brake booster and master cylinder upgrade

    not sure on budget, but i believe he intends to build it himself, to keep costs down

    its a 3 speed manual column shift, again only for ease of re-fitment, the only other option he was looking at was a Trimatic, because he does have a couple of these from VK’s that we have parted out in the past but were not sure on the transmission tunnel clearances of a HR

    i know he did want a bit of an idle to it, so he probably want something bigger than a stock cam, what brands are out there?

    any idea how would a EFI 202 go with a larger cam? im guessing VK EFI was pretty well limited as far tuning goes

    what mod is needed to stop crank hitting pan?

    Maybe try a 1998 VS V8 Dipstick (ute or stateman)

    as mine was different to the early transmissions

    and VT 5.0lt are different again
