How much heat are you expecting? Wouldnt have thought any one would be in there long enough to be effected by any heat.

Depending on your gearing, but you could probably do it all in 1st. Pretty sure I dont get into 3rd in the CV8. So depending on your gearing, could be possible to never shift it into top. :)

I let him know when all the Collingrove events are Gary. But most of em seem to clash with an event at his local track. :(

I would love to see the ID plates on this thing. he is claiming it is a GTS Monaro.
But I can see why not many were built. Hideous.

Oh the linear steering rack in the Coupe4 could have something to do with it too. But I have a NOS one of those in the shed. Just for that rainy day if I need it.

yeah the Coupe4 is totally different to the Adventra.
My Coupe4 always felt like a go kart compared to the AWD CV8. Only thing I could put it down to was the different suspension set up. Looked into buying all the components to make it all Coupe4. But from memory parts alone was well over $5k. Then they had to be fitted. I shelved the idea…[Read more]

It has an open front diff, so will always single peg the one of the fronts. There is a couple of people that I know that are trying to source a quiafe centre for it, but no luck yet. But in all honesty it doesnt need it, Only once have I managed to get the car to break traction and I was well past my skill level when it happened. :)…[Read more]

I fully expected this thing to be a lot slower than the old 2WD version. Having to drive the AWD system and all.
Now consider that last time I look this thing to 210kph, I got a bit scared as it floated and skipped all over the road. So I backed out of it.
But now………. Wow, just wow.Sitting on 220 the automatic handbrake didn’t…[Read more]

I fully expected this thing to be a lot slower than the old 2WD version. Having to drive the AWD system and all.
Now consider that last time I look this thing to 210kph, I got a bit scared as it floated and skipped all over the road. So I backed out of it.
