So little update started getting the bay welded up today so much work making all the filler panels and welding each peice in the big main one over the battery tray is welded on thw bay sode and i made folding tabs that roll up the back under wheel arch that are all spot welded in its solid as a bloody rock but ive retained the spots where original panels where spotted as to keep it repairable if for any reason i nose it into anything.

January 17, 2016 at 7:58 pm #13415Then decided to also cut the bonnet out aswell so i can neaten bonnet and the bay up all at once just knock all the welding out in one go i was goung to scoop it but so happy ive just knocked bracing out and bonnet closes with an inch of room above the elbow so no scoop at all

January 17, 2016 at 7:55 pm #13414Then i made it out of panel steel same thickness as original cut out tabs aswell so i can weld then fold and double weld for strength which sould be stronger than factory once its braced etc

January 17, 2016 at 7:51 pm #13412So updates hooked in today the abs looked like a bag of asses sitting where i had it so now im going the whole 9 yards hiding the module and also the wiring will be hidden except for injector loom cause the harrop manifold cant hide it lol. So cut the battery tray clean out of it and started the template

January 9, 2016 at 9:24 am #13143Abs relocation started last night not ideal but the only spot for it but it fits and its out of the way of the manifold now and managed to use existing bracket so its all a win for me im not smoothing the bay out as i have far to much going in in the bay for me to justify it. As for the relays there going under the gaurd i personally dont like the idea but again no room so i have to make the most of the space i have

January 9, 2016 at 9:20 am #13142Im the same but coolers are coolers imo if it doesnt leak from cores its gonna work imo thays just me though prob the only shitty part on the car lol

January 8, 2016 at 11:05 am #13130Haha i took a risk on the cooler and fan its a speedmaster i would generally avoid there products like a bad smell but i cooler is suck a simple item that if it shits out i would be highly supprised cooler itself looks good and its twin core cooler fan on the other hand i possibly wont use it looks cheap lol

January 8, 2016 at 8:53 am #13123Yeah thats pretty much what engineer told me had so many people tell me it can never be moved lol i usually just go straight to the engineer now for anything i do it saves alot of bullshit just making a phone call ill hopefully be gettinh that job out of the way very soon

January 7, 2016 at 7:25 pm #13113Also have to relocate the abs but thats simple as im not trying to smooth or shave anything cause theres literally so much motor theres not much point so abs will move to the front of the strut tower engineer had no issues with me doing it as long as i used approved brake line etc
