Pics of fuel lines. The fuel line mounting brackets I used are off a VN commodore. Main reason I did this was not enough room to run them all in the original position and too close to the exhaust.

I made new hard lines for my VK with LS engine. Used 3/8 steel for fuel pressure and return also run one 5/16 steel line for charcoal cannister which I fitted at the rear above the axle housing. Run them from rear to across back of trans crossmember and then up into the trans tunnel (as VRsenator 065 has done). Hard lines finish above bell housing onto a bracket using  bulkhead fittings then aeroflow stainless braid hose to fuel rails.

Thanks for the replies. Yes info I am getting is they are just sikaflexed in. Quite thick bead as sit off the car body about 8 mm. Seem to sit in the plastic frame. I am thinking stick the window in the plastic external surround and then put the whole thing on a bead of sealant and screw the surround on. The plastic trim on the inside will cover all the sealant area so you cant see it.

I see you have your fuel pump mounted up fairly high. Are you running a surge tank or a fuel cell in the boot? I have VK with L98. Have fuel pump (bosch 044) mounted lower and drop section welded into tank for fuel pick up, but still get it sucking air sometimes. Not sure which way to go. Dont want to run a fuel cell want to retain factory tank.

Hi, I will get some pics of my exhaust and put up for you in a couple of days. Harness looks real nice. I put my ECU in the windscreen wiper plenum and extended the plenum cover over it. Mine is the standard 6 litre E38 ecu which is a lot smaller than the earlier ones. Mine passed noise test fine with exhaust I have. If it is too loud you could put some restrictor plates in temporaraly to pass noise test.

hi, Had standard M78 borgwarner 4 pinion lsd which sometimes would not lock up. Recently fitted harrop true trac centre. Works very well. Drive normally around corners etc and free wheels nicely. Put some power into it and always two wheels are locked together and spinning.

Hi, Probably me. I cut the corners off rear of the sump and had some ali pieces welded in. I did post some pics up. I think I added the pictures to one of your threads regarding LS install info.

Hi, Have done same engine swap into my VK. Got engineered and licensed about 6 months ago. Exhaust wise I run the try Y extractors from castle engineering which I had to modify a bit. 2 and 1/2 inch secondaries out of extractors and into a single 3 and 1/2 inch with one muffler and one resonator at the rear as per standard just larger. What compression ratio do you end up with after removing 20 thou off the heads and does the intake still line up o.k?

Hi, Could you drill and tap into the water pump near where the heater hose attaches.

I used this radiator. Three core aluminium radiator, not sure of the brand. Was for a five litre and I moved inlet and outlet fittings in radiator tanks. Inlet on top left and V6 commodore hose fits perfect. Outlet lower right and used a generic 90 degree hose.

I have used a VL master cylinder in my VK with LS engine. Master cylinder bored out to 19mm and 6 cyl VL pedal box. Works very well.

Hi. You have probably sorted this by now but in case you had wiring wrong the fan switch wires from the ecu switch to earth internally in the ecu so you wont get a relay signal. Fan relay should be wired to be switched to earth by the ecu.

That looks bloody nice. You said you used a V6 K frame. What engine mounts did you use? Is that a better option than a V8 K frame?

Hi, Nice neat tidy set up. What are the boot lid gas struts off. Are they standard on the SL/X or modified from later model or what? I have a VK which is due for paint soon and will include boot spoiler and am thinking with the spoiler on the boot the springs may not hold the boot up.

I have done LS conversion into VK. For best exhaust clearance around extractors on the right side you will need a VL to VP V8 K frame and VL steering rack if going manual steering. If using power steering VL to VP will fit. I went with the manual steering mainly so I had more room. The steering is not overly heavy. I also cut small piece off each corner on rear of sump and welded in piece of flat plate over hole to give clearance to K frame.
