it will be 1/10th scale so about 15-20cm high.
I haven’t got the model yet, still looking around for the right one, but that one is fairly close to what I’m looking at. The really fine details aren’t an issue.
I will send you a file once I decide with the one I’m going with, see what you think
cheers

it’s not car parts, but I’ll be building up a scale RC Huey Helicopter soon – long term project!
It’s around 1/10th scale. Can’t seem to find pilots in the right scale, so was thinking about creating a couple of pilots with something like Daz 3D or Poser, export them in a 3D printer friendly format and find someone to print them for me.

I’m hoping to get myself a set of COME 590 heads in the not too distant future
Wish my budget could also extend to one of those Grp A manifolds… will just have to make do with my Trickshift copy

Did my apprenticeship as a mechanic at a Holden dealer, spent about another 10 years in the trade. Got to road test a few brand new VL Walkinshaws and VN Grp A’s, which was fairly awesome, especially for an apprentice who was a huge Commodore fan. That was about the only perks of an otherwise unrewarding career.

there’s a few clear plastic restoration products you can buy that might sort out the yellowing and fine scratches from the gear indicator
Something like this ?
