Posts: 71Might actually be VX. I’ll ask my mate that I bought them off.
To update: car is in to get painted and have the rust hole repaired.
Have found an s pac boot lid with the bobtail and put an offer in for it. Waiting to hear back. Hoping to have both fresh so depending on mood I can swap.
Gonna try and drop off the SS kit tomorrow to get prepped for paint. Can’t wait to have an amazing looking car!March 18, 2015 at 10:04 pm #3021

Posts: 71It isn’t there under load, from what I can hear. I can only hear it at idle.
Even when revving it at neutral, I can’t hear it.March 18, 2015 at 8:20 pm #3003

Posts: 71Under the radio. So Auto selector surround removed and radio surround removed to get to it. Or there is shorter switches which is about 6 inches long.

Posts: 71Brilliant car mate. Love every little bit of it. You’ve done extremely well! That is above show car work.
Random question, can you get a better pic up of the gauge set up you have?

Posts: 71Add an idea to the boot install. A sliding shelf that holds tools. Bolted to the parcel shelf. Yay or nay?

Posts: 71Was actually thinking of getting a boot lid and lip off an s pac. Will suit the SS kit.
I kinda like the spoiler on it. Hate boots without spoilers.
I’m a black sheep ok? Haha.
Andy, this one’s been ruined by someone with silly ideas. That center piece has been painted.
The blackouts arnt supposed to be there. When it’s ready for paint it’ll be what it’s supposed to be from factory.
Nevin, got any pics on what that would look like? I dunno how that would look…

Posts: 71I was kinda thinking of grafting the vy gauge piece onto the vs dash… Might look weird though. I want some gauges but don’t want them in stupid spots like the a pillar or center console. Surprisingly use the center piece under the radio a lot! So I gotta think of a new spot…
I’ll try for tomorrow but don’t look at the center console lines… bloody horrible.

First I gotta play with the stato dash to make the center console line up a bit better. Then possibly swap it to a darker version.
Kinda want to get a new carpet so it fits nicely on the sides. Lhr is pulled away and won’t go back under the plastics.
