December 14, 2015 at 5:36 am #12150Looking good mate, just hope the brake line isnt a long painful job, will suck if it slows build down just for the sake of a few pretty brake lines that most people will not notice. Keep it simple not like you will be at car shows with bonnet popped etc
shouldbt be too hard or painful. Painting the bay so it’s something I know will shit me.
December 13, 2015 at 8:15 pm #12141I shouldn’t be too harsh. I’ve got a Toyota too.
Some happy snaps of the conversion gear, while I’m outside
December 13, 2015 at 8:09 pm #12140Yeah that’s it mate. It’s 3 line. mines a real race car. No ABS.
But but mines a real race car and has ABS…
But yours is a Toyota
December 13, 2015 at 7:09 pm #12138Yeah that’s it mate. It’s 3 line.

December 13, 2015 at 6:21 pm #12136Subtle mods to keep the bay fresh.
My angle grinder has already gotten the best of the brake likes. So I have no option now lol
December 13, 2015 at 5:28 pm #12131Didn’t do much today. But had a good suss of the rear end. I pulled out the up trailing arms. I think they were well and truly cooked.
Also got some good ideas for the brake line from this beautiful VK
December 13, 2015 at 1:10 am #12115U should be banned for asking stupid questions.
December 12, 2015 at 9:14 pm #12110yeah I know what your saying. I went through all of this when I built the old SS.
So I kinda know the process and what to expect. Trying to make it as smooth as possible.
December 12, 2015 at 1:55 pm #12103Hey Ian. I just noticed your running the ls9 cam. I was considering this until I found something slightly larger. Do u have an idle video?
Also so what’s your exhaust consist of?!
December 12, 2015 at 8:24 am #12100Happiness is an engine eased in over xmas
thats the plan. Fingers crossed. I’ll slide it in. Get it sorted and then yank for paint
December 11, 2015 at 5:39 pm #12096Not much to update as of late. Been busy with work and the little one.
I did manage to swap my headers for a set of CRS 1-7/8 4-1 headers. These should help get the engine breathing.
Have also purchased some goodies
TCI LSA flex plate + ARP bolts
Holley 12-848 Fuel Reg
Sump Gasket
Improved Racing baffle kit + Crank Scraper.
My windage tray is also at ASR getting modded.Plan is to hopefully ease engine in over the Xmas break.
