My front end from CRS didn’t come with all the bolts either. So annoying because I think the 2 main bolts are imperial.

the kit was 2nd hand. It had some bolts, but not all. Also cause I brought the car as a roller it was missing bits and pieces. Quick trip to the wreckers and $10 later I can’t complain. Got a good mate of mine coming past to help me ease it in.

    Pray at for clearance.

Don’t stress boys. The trans mount is rock solid. She won’t be moving anywhere.

Good all my bolts today. Engine mounts are on and everything is double checked and ready to roll tomorrow.  :yahoo:

Yeah he showed me what it was. It was one they had for another customer that had been wanting to put it in his vs. I can only go off what they said, im no expert in diffs.

hmm fair enough. Unless it’s changed recently eaton never made a true track for the m78 diff. Harrop would take an eaton unit and modify it. It may still wear the eaton tag but it certainly doesn’t wear the eaton price.

Either way you will be wrapt. I had one in both my cars and couldn’t fault them.

Looking good. You sure it’s an eaton true track???  They don’t make one for the m78. Only Harrop does at $1200

Got a spare hour or two. So I had a fiddle getting it ready to drop in.

    Progress so far

ASR Windage Tray + Improved Racing Baffle all installed

    Ls1 sump on

This is why the LSA is boss the tech compared to the ls1 is way ahead of time. Bit like comparing 304 to ls1

Factory Headers. Make for good turbo logs 😉

Last but not least. 3 of my knuckles.

Will defiently need more/bigger fuel pumps. Unsure on the corvette but a boost reference reg like the Holley 12-848 is what you want.

Did u buy the 1900 or the 2300? Big difference.

Plot thickens. Spoke to the manufacturer about the installation of the product. Turns out that if you have a lower ratio gear set in it (typically 3.89/4.11) you need to remove the pinion and shave a few thou off the top corner of the pinion gear teeth to provide sufficient clearance. I was told I could do this with an angle grinder (expect if I have to I might use the linisher instead!) My first thought is why not manufacture a product which has this clearance built into the LSD case if so required? Unless I’m not thinking of this right. Looks like this isn’t an ‘over Christmas’ job as I haven’t got a replacement crush washer on hand if I have to pull the pinion out…

would of been easier to do m80 conversion and use eaton truetrack.

Many mate had to lininsh to fit his 3.7’s with his Harrop track into his BW

IMO 3.7 is perfect for the 304/4speed.
