Easier to go cable tb unless you already have the loom and computer. With FBW you need to adapt the pedal in. Is it better?? I’d wouldn’t say it is. I personally much rather Cable TB and the instant pedal feel

You must comply with all the rules of the new engine and the era of vehicle it came from.

you can get the trimatic block red tilled but that will lead to a rebuild as it will have to be torn down.

Why not stick with a tri??

    Whiteline for me.

Get Whiteline adj upper trailing arms. Just keep the stock lowers, but get them boxed in for strength.

You will find u will have a pump “lay” more often then a complete failure.

As as lj said. The lift pump sees no pressure. It’s a low pressure line.

How does your foam handle the fuel lj? Is yours e85  I know a lot of people using e85 and e85 approved foam and it still deteriates blocking the fuel filters.

Rather have 2 pumps and have a slight loss of fuel pressure with one failure then a single pump and total loss of pressure with a failure.

this is also why u double the capacity you need rather then just meet it.

Non ATM. Had to lash out on a few power tools for work over the xmas period and that sent the bank account into cardiac arrest.

Also been busy getting back into work for the year. When your sitting at home no one calls, soon as ur back at work everyone needs jobs done.

What’s your intended power and budget?

The way your planning to do this will have some expensive tuning costs.

might seem like an odd question but are you fitting cruise control back on it? if you are i’ve got a V8 Cruise module you can have, if you want it. took it off my VS cant fit it because the Torque Power Manifold. keeps getting moved around the shed because its in the way. I dont think i’ll be using it, saves throwing it out.

Ive seen the cruise control done on a TP manifold. Just need to get creative with a bracket

Imagine its the kinda thing that apart from cost, it cant be too big can it? I mean if you only ever use half its capacity ts not going to hurt it.

Yep that’s what I thought, I like having some overhead left in my equipment!

You could always mount the winch to the back of the tonner and run a couple of rollers on the trailer. :)

Had considered that at one point Chris but when I built the exhaust I moved the spare to the top of the chassis back there so there’s nowhere for it to go, that and it would mean I was dragging around more dead weight.. I’ll grab another Anderson connector and bolt a battery holder to the Trailer in case anyone else needs to use the trailer and winch..

good idea with the Anderson plug. Will make my life easier  ;-)

It’s a $1500-2k exercise here if you go new. Troll the web for a complete 2nd kit.

My bitter experience is a lot of “tuners” don’t have a clue what the trans is actually doing, let alone needs/wants. Lets just give it truck loads of line pressure and off ya go.

    This.

Then soon as they get one ok, they think their experts
