Why you changing the sump. Not happy with the high energy?

IMO the t5 won’t last with the power/revs the motor will want. Don’t get too heavy a clutch or a brass button. Somthing like an HD organic type will be the best thing to “attempt” to keep the box alive.

Will ll be a much happier combo with 3.9/4.11 gearing also.

For a Tarmac rally. Would a tire with less side wall be beneficial?

My experience with FBW in my VZ ls1 wasn’t that special. I didn’t rate it at all. Felt laggy.

If you go e38 you must run the FBW.

E38 doesn’t need the converter box.

No idea mate. Never seen of heard of them to be honest.

Whats ts price like? Does it come with the appropriate loom?

Im going ls1 Ecu, Cable tb and then a Linglefelter converter box. Simple and easy. Plenty of Ecu and looms around.   Plenty of tuners that work with the Ls Ecu.

hi guys just tuning in to give my experience with the castle auto 1 7/8 4-1 headers, im using there power mounts (look similar to tuff mount) and there starter swap, the drivers side header does not fit with out major firewall massaging, the headers look great on the ground but that doesnt mean too much if they dont do there intended purpose ie fit a vn with a ls2 motor lol

yeah I gave trying to fit mine in. I’m going to cut the collector off and run a slip on type and then seperate the headers into 4 individual pieces.

Then an bin if they don’t fit.

Mine was to suit m80 so I did the conversion and brought it from the states. This was back when they wanted $1500 for just the center here.
