I had a lower arm bent by nearly an inch, that doesnt help handeling, however helps to roll your guards. No idea how it happened. Does you car track all over the place when braking at lights on main roads etc? My ute track width must be odd as on busy roads at braking points before lights gets all over the place if this makes sense. I am told the wide wheels make your car slightly wider than average car and doesnt sit in the grooves that cars have worn into road?
lol u should drive my 80series with the 35’s
October 28, 2016 at 12:53 pm #20376Yep makes sense. I should double check mine.
Mine were painted. Not powder coated tho.
October 28, 2016 at 12:37 pm #20373Can you take a photo of what your talking about exactly?
October 28, 2016 at 10:25 am #20365Looks like it’s running warm
October 28, 2016 at 10:07 am #20361What these things really need is more rigidity in the body pan/chassis but unfortunately there is no simple answer. Race cars solve the issue with a roll cage. The only option we really have is to get the body pan stitch welded in critical areas but again unless your aim is motor sports it’s probably not something most would think about. To me it looks like that front anti-roll bar is already on it’s hardest setting.
hehe. I got a few of those suggestions done. Hopefully she’s nice and tight
fyi that’s the softest setting
October 27, 2016 at 1:23 pm #20351What sort of front sway bars are on it?
Tony, Vsclubby355 has tein coil overs, and it handles like it’s on rails.
What coil overs are in yours?
October 24, 2016 at 7:19 pm #20311Looks wickid mate. Any more photos of how lines a run?
October 24, 2016 at 5:49 pm #20308+1 for a strut brace. They aren’t just for p platers. They do a lot.
October 24, 2016 at 9:32 am #20299Same concept as drop in bags
October 23, 2016 at 10:51 am #20284Hey Nate what is the gauge you have on the fire wall plenum it’s nice kind of hides it away
It’s the fuel pressure gauge and it’s the original hole for the wiper motor wiring just had to make it a tad bigger
oh I’m so stealing that idea.
car looks so sinister on convos. Love it mate. Do you have a photo of the tub work inside the boot?

October 22, 2016 at 7:37 pm #20276How unreliable is your car VH?
I don’t carry anything extra aside from a few fuses. I have RACV total care, anything more and I call.

October 22, 2016 at 12:21 pm #20271Put in a running kettle and see if it opens.
Run what the factory t/stat is. It should be 180
October 22, 2016 at 7:04 am #20268Re bleed the system and double check tstat is working correctly.
October 21, 2016 at 10:24 am #20258Yeah that’s it mate. Marzella on those forum gas near identical setup to Aaron. Granted his running bananas.
at heathcote the biggest issue was heat soak after a run. In boosted application that’s when the bananas suffer IMO
October 21, 2016 at 7:33 am #20252Well i clearly missed that point.
Anyways. Aaron only made an extra 20hp over the bananas changing to that. Hardly worth the expense and time.
October 20, 2016 at 8:58 pm #20249This car used a dual plane manifold with elbow and single throttle body covered up with the gutted top of an original banana manifold… (and a turbo to run 9.9’s)
ask him how much extra power the dual plane made over the Bananas and you will be surprised.
October 17, 2016 at 6:15 pm #20193Would of thought the factory master/booster and abs does the correct proporting regardless of what the brakes are off.

October 17, 2016 at 12:03 pm #20189Why you running a proporting valve gary? Yours is factory setup?

October 16, 2016 at 7:32 pm #20179Boostless setup looks mint. I’ve always wanted to run one. But heard they aren’t the easiest to setup correctly and get working right. Keen to see some results.
