What made you go down that road? Clearance or that manual “feel”

Yeah that’s all I did. Vsmanta gave me that tip. I did it all in car because I cbf pulling the whole steering shaft apart.

U can also just swap the bottom part where it mounts to rack.

Don’t quote me. But I don’t believe so. I had mine apart a few times over the years and always re used them.

There is a tool to buy when you do the rear main is its aligned perfectly. If you just wing it, it can still leak.

Pull the flex off and you will be able to see the rear main.

The manifold is all rubber seals. U can pull that off also and double check if any are pinched etc.

The ls is very easy to tear down and inspect. The gasket technology in them I chalk and cheese above the 5oh
