Worse case you can always use your manual surround.

Yea that’s what I’m planning on vrsenator065, got the idea of using my manual knob still and trying to keep the factory look like you did with your senator. Just need to find a auto marble surround to replace my manual one, not liking my chances after seeing how hard the manual ones seem to be to find.

i reckon I know where one is. I’ll have a suss

Unless you slant the radiator back and allow it to get some cool air an OTR will heat soak like a mofo.

Try get someone to photo shop one of those HDT scoops on. If it looks good then you could do something really cool with it.

That’s the one mate. I think this is he best option IMO then you can seal the intakes to the bottom of the cowl and happy days. Same theory as my air tray

I’ve never been a fan of the twin nostril type bonnet scoops. As above, a small reverse scoop or HDT VL style scoop would be the go. Something like this…

Not a fan at all Gary.

This would look better or even a really low line HDT reverse cowl type with the opening at the bacK

It might not be the prettiest Car. But it doesn’t exactly what it’s meant to do and does it well.

Whats planned for trying to get it to corner like the WRX? Or is it purely a weight thing. I’d imagine what you lack in cornering to him, you make up for in terms of outright speed.

Hows the IATS’s go with your current setup also?

how do you find the circle D converter? I’ve heard great reviews about them.

I agree the Monaro bonnet looks poxy unless u have the boxes sea agains the top of the bonnet and have 3-4inch tube with a pod filter run to each bank.

Do the Monaro air vent on the bonnet and direct them into the air box.

Looks good mate. That’s same spot I put my amp.

IMO will look a lot nicer without those headlight covers. Possibly add some altezza lights.

He already has a fabricated one. It looks rubbish.

Why does everyone think his going to make 100’s of plenums. He just wants a one off

The mouldings and paper work got thrown out. I don’t believe any technically owns them. Making a full manifold would be very costly. I know flow craft require 30 customers who have fully paid before he makes his. They could be made. But it would run into the 10’s of thousands of dollars before even one was ready. james just wants one for his bottom half as his plenum is a ling long job.

You can’t really compare the cost of manufacturing a product today to when flowcraft did their version of the manifold, costs have greatly changed and once you have a set of molds the costs come down considerably for any following production runs. I’d suggest the casting facility probably has a minimum run/cost and flowcraft probably don’t want to produce 30 manifolds and have 20 sitting on the shelf for any period of time, the profit margin is probably quiet good too these days per manifold. Personally I’d be happy to get hold of a lower and then fabricate the upper, it’s not a hugely complicated design.

he told me this 2-3years ago. Manufacturing them isn’t cheap and it’s not worth his wild unless his got min 30 sold.

I’ve got an air box and K&n panel setup if your keen?

Pods work great. But they must be in an enclosure.
