We made all the earths, run the alternator wiring as well as the start loom. All off it has been heat sleeved and double heatshrinked over the ends. Also managed to hook up the fuel system and do a full bleed. So it’s ready to roll. No leaks but I did cross connect one line. No big deal.
The twin 460’s move some serious fuel.
Not long now. If the coils were wired and leads done we could of started it today!!!
March 4, 2020 at 4:01 pm #31574You forgot the heater loop. Keep plumbing.
March 4, 2020 at 6:22 am #31569It’s a cracker engine. Credit where credit is due.
March 3, 2020 at 8:30 pm #31565Did someone say Barra?
March 2, 2020 at 9:24 pm #31553Get it rebuilt and setup PROPERLY and it will do wonders. Anything other then an ls is a waste.
March 2, 2020 at 7:18 pm #31551Just fix the quady. They are a good carby when working correctly.
March 1, 2020 at 4:26 pm #31533looking good Cava what did your computer and harness cost in the end
Too much. Id go the Holley Terminator X if I were to do it again. Significantly cheaper.
Also if engineering laws are more relaxed for you I would go cable Tb also.
However the factory ecu does make engineering simpler, otherwise I’d have a haltec in it.

Managed to paint up my PVC intake as well as my airbox. Think it’s looks a lot more finished. Just wacked a bung in it and that’s were my PCV system will vent too. I looped the 2 lines behind the engine and ran a single line to the air-box for the neatest way.MAF is also placed in the intake instead of the air-box like I was going to originally do.
This should keep engineer happy.
February 27, 2020 at 9:33 pm #31515Bout time you got tires lol
February 27, 2020 at 3:07 pm #31511Not when it runs between pipes Cav, fire sleeved or not the rubber cooks and breaks down…
You just killed my vibe.
February 26, 2020 at 9:19 pm #31501200 Fire Sleeved should be fine, not a huge difference in price these days.
You don’t think 100 series is up to the task?
Thats what I used. My old setup used 400series push lock.
February 24, 2020 at 9:54 pm #31470I may or may not have mentioned this as being a potential issue when they were first mentioned
Step in the right direction. Maybe look into a ctsv hat? Is there a way to reduce the overall height of your mounts? Or can you sink the engine down more into the factory k frame?
February 24, 2020 at 4:30 pm #31463Good to hear mate. You should put the temp sender in the rear of the drivers side head. It’s more accurate and and closer value to what the ecu reads.
February 20, 2020 at 4:46 pm #31443Big hole in the disc between the studs..
My disks don’t have that.
February 20, 2020 at 10:29 am #31441You can adjust them through the hole..
What hole?
