In other news. I got my front bumper on today. However there is no chance my fittings will fit. So I put that on FB and it’s already sold.

Have emailed PWR and getting a custom w2A made.

Why wouldn’t you be able to run your Shifter? Could pretty much program it so in normal it’s a full Auto and in power it’s manually shifted if that’s what you want, T42 controllers aren’t exactly expensive… Lockup in Summer saves a LOT of wear and tear due to Heat… But in the end it’s your car I’m just making suggestions!

If I go another throw on the shifter (not even sure if outlaw does a 4speed) it won’t fit under my consol.

I’ll speak to the trans guy. I’ll prob just stay with the t400 tbh.

Nah im 100% manual valve body guy. I like to shift. Plus I’d need a trans controller if I went electronic and then I couldn’t run my fancy shifter lol

I’ll make some calls. I honestly don’t mind non lock up etc.

remeber my old combo was 3.9/3spd 5200 lol

Just run a new 1/2 feedline with the returnless reg.

Then use the existing hardline as the line for the charcoal canister. That’s what I plan on doing.

It’s a quick fill booster and 1 inch master. It’s a great upgrade especially with a bigger brake kit.

I’ve got a pipe bender and cutters. But that helps being a plumber.

I have to do mine soon but I get my engineer to flare for me rather then buying a cheapie.

That sounds like an experience having the dash facia flying out at you when you’re into it manta, the 4l80 is literally only 2-3″ longer and there’s no difference in width or height to the t400 except what looks like a box added onto the side at the rear which still shouldn’t be a problem to fit in a 2nd gen, we have a few at work and when I got my t400 buil I sat the side by side and couldn’t believe how similar they are to each other, the boss just finished building another 4l80, this time reverse pattern full manual trans braked for an 800hp turbo ls2 rock crawler patrol/hilux

what do you do for work? That would be exactly what I’d be chasing. What’s something like that worth.

Yeah they have different mounts to suit different combinations.

Bolted striaght up. 0 issue s box was a pain to get it. Bloody tight in there.

I just want a bullet proof box. Don’t wanna have to build it twice.

I’ll call tomorrow and book it in. When??? I got no idea.

Will be aiming to fit 275 radials. that’s similar to 28×10? I think lol.

Got the box in before the footy

T400 vs Powerglide comparison. Size wise is drastically bigger, a lot heavier and will take more HP to spin, but ultimately will make the car faster down the track which is what it’s all about

Box in with Tuff Mount bracket and factory rubber mount.

Shifter all bolted in. Plastics all in and adjusted to their appropriate places. Just need to get a leather boot cover made

Also got a chance to align the engine and have everything sitting correctly. Now I can send it off the the fabricator and get some goodies made. 👌👌👌👌

Just gotta keep your eyes peels.

For a 3rd party to do rings and bearings and slide in a small cam expect to pay around 3-4500 drive in/drive out

ive got a 180km 304 at home with a small cam in it which I’ll be looking to part ways with.

Will get snaps when bumper is back on which should be later.

It will be driven on the street a lot. Going Od i can then step up to a 4.11resr ratio which will help racing.

Had a play last night. Mate come over and helped me get the guards back on.

I pulled all the wiring back into the bay as now it’s going to be place under steering wheel.

Ill have to notch the reo on the bumper to get that back in as it’s touching the W2A HX.

Also put all the interior plastics back in. Naturally I have 3 extra screw left over hahah fml
