He did say it will flare a little when I chase more power.
Ls9 blower conversion is pretty pricey. They are making similar numbers with the 1.9ltr when they have been modded. So bang v buck it’s not worth it.
Caddy top is a lot cheaper and bolts directly in too.
December 28, 2017 at 10:24 am #25577Mark does great work. For the trimatic another killer Shop is PTC/ProMatic in tullamarine. They are the ducks nuts of trimatics.
Lsa makes instant torque so too big a converter and I’ll miss most of that goodness.
December 27, 2017 at 9:10 pm #25572Ok seeet I’ll give that a crack tomorrow. Cheers.
Either way is what it is.
December 27, 2017 at 8:25 pm #25570They knew I had this flex plate before when they spec’d it all up.
Can you tell by eye if it’s ls converter or not?
December 27, 2017 at 6:54 pm #25568mmm nice shiny parts Didn’t think about using the TCI dual drilled Flexplate and using a dedicated TH400 converter? Just means if down the track you make a change you can easily offload the old one as there’s way more TH400/350 buyers than LS/TH400..
I have the Tci flex plate. The converter is to suit that….I hope.

December 22, 2017 at 8:44 am #25498what car is this going in again. I keep thinking it’s a vs FML.
The reg Is mainly used on conversions. It’s internal reg. So feed goes in the the smaller lower port is the return back to tank. Then single feed goes to the rails. It’s essentially s dead head system.

December 21, 2017 at 10:27 pm #25494I don’t know the physical difference between the c6 and v8 hanger. I would assume they are all the same, which would work in the end.
December 21, 2017 at 5:14 pm #25487No need for an ls1 hanger. Just use the stock one with a walbro gss342 which is 255LPH
Chev Holden GM Fuel Pressure Regulator Filter for LS1 LS2 LS3 L98 LS7 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F202104212317
December 21, 2017 at 11:05 am #25481At a minimum I’d get a Walbro gss342.
You also need a converter fuel reg and filter.
December 21, 2017 at 7:50 am #25477Easier to just use a linglefelter converter box.
Then use LS1 loom with cable tb.
December 19, 2017 at 1:27 pm #25469Yeah will never able to fit that’s easily.
