WHO does the shaving? They turned out great. Wouldn’t mind doing mine. If that’s the case
You can easily do it yourself Cav. You just need to grind off the posts and then either weld up or use a high-temp epoxy to fill the little divots left behind. I had mine welded up and then used JB-Weld to fill in any imperfections as it has a temperature rating of 290°C.
Mine is just ppg deltron epoxy, ppg enviroprime high fill, ppg enviroprime surfacer g7 and 2 coats of ppg deltron gloss black. very straight forward.
Had a look at my covers and realised they are different to the ls1’s. Would be a tonne of work involved in getting them smooth. Might just lash out on some billet covers.
February 1, 2018 at 8:51 pm #25847It would be good to spray in the intake to aid cooling. The intake charge.
Like meth.

Cheers bro! They are standard with -12 fittings welded to them & painted black
Yours don’t seem to have all the bolt holes in them.

January 23, 2018 at 5:49 pm #25765Nice.
Did you retain traction control to all 4 wheels?
January 23, 2018 at 4:51 pm #25761What was the go?
January 22, 2018 at 8:11 pm #25741Yeah i will just cap it. Or hide it.. The filter on this only vents if there is too much pressure and the pcv can’t keep it. It has a one way valve built in.
Bit like an air admittance valve.
January 20, 2018 at 7:45 pm #25734Ready to roll.
January 20, 2018 at 1:36 pm #25732Just going to hide it for now. I will always run this can on street. It doesn’t vent to atmosphere unless the pcv can’t keep up.
Ill just make it look like it’s connected properly when. I go engineer
January 20, 2018 at 7:34 am #25729Picked up my Mighty Mouse Catch can last night. Got it for a bargain so I’m rather pleased.
It’s got a few tricks up its sleeve. Has the usual internal baffling etc, PCV setup and a one way directional filter.
January 19, 2018 at 6:32 pm #25726With kframe spacers and a ctsv lid it will fit under the Bonnet.
But I think the ctsv kids are ugly. I used to have a cowl, the more and more I seen them the more I hated them.
Sunday car goes to my mate to start the wiring. Found out the Painter is in hospital. So we will make a start with all wiring from engine bay back.
