February 27, 2018 at 3:54 pm #26051Finally got onto the computer so now i can post properly.
Wiring is progressing, if you haven’t figured Tony Vsclubby355 is doing it. His just finished making sure everything works, as who ever stripped the car, wasn’t the nicest. his found a few minor faults but now everything is sorted. His made some patch looms to make everything easier to plug and play as well as make a patch loom for the speed alert as mine doesn’t have it from factory.
His also getting fancy with how his mounting the fuses etc, by laser cutting some brackets etc
Ive just picked up all the 0 gauge wiring, battery terminals and lugs. So i can give them to him and he can now make a start on the Power/Negative side of things.
Doing it once, doing it properly. It helps his anal.Plus i get to cruise around in his car while mine takes up his garage space. Did someone say skids???
February 25, 2018 at 9:24 pm #26040How did she fair. New box and weight adjustment pay off?
February 24, 2018 at 2:26 pm #26030Dead head has the regulator at the pump with a self bleed, so it’s not like it’s over loaded at low fuel demand scenarios.
It’s basically a return setup with the regulator at the tank.
February 24, 2018 at 10:03 am #26029It’s getting wired atm. Hopefully ya finished soon.
February 24, 2018 at 10:02 am #26028Gay

Not being equal length wouldn’t matter much. Not unless your turning 1000hp chasing every 2-3hp.

February 8, 2018 at 5:50 pm #25866WHO does the shaving? They turned out great. Wouldn’t mind doing mine. If that’s the case
You can easily do it yourself Cav. You just need to grind off the posts and then either weld up or use a high-temp epoxy to fill the little divots left behind. I had mine welded up and then used JB-Weld to fill in any imperfections as it has a temperature rating of 290°C.
Mine is just ppg deltron epoxy, ppg enviroprime high fill, ppg enviroprime surfacer g7 and 2 coats of ppg deltron gloss black. very straight forward.
Had a look at my covers and realised they are different to the ls1’s. Would be a tonne of work involved in getting them smooth. Might just lash out on some billet covers.
i think edelbrock have a new generation style covers in black. youll have to message scott mccafferty where he bought his.
his are Bliss.
February 2, 2018 at 7:09 pm #25855Lol slight back fire.
