Don’t you love it when winging it pays off haha.

I might be in your area Sunday.

Make sure it’s running, or I’ll be forced to drive over your water meter.

    I won’t even charge you much 😏

    I’m confused, why VB panels?

I want the VB front end I collected all the chrome parts when I had the green VB , also I like the gille flutes in the VB bonnet not the plastic one in VH As for the actuator , the solenoid is controlled by the ecu so in factory car it can control , speed , in reverse gear , abuse, some temperature issues , certain revs in first gear there is more can not remember so remove the solenoid but keep the other part and hook it up to vacuum -boost then will just work as a bypass valve without ecu interfering

Yeah I no how it works. I’ve got factory ecu so mine is still all hooked up.

Just make sure you do it right or it will bleed boost.

I can rattle can someone race stripes and numbers on the vehicle for a small fee.

I also do ghost flames. That may or may not look like ghost flames.

Jokes aside I think being white with the Carbon details will look good. I still think a carbon wrap on the bonnet roof and boot will look minter

How’s it coming along, you far off from a full tune? Your pwr radiator did you go with a 55mm core or the larger 68mm?

Have only been in the garage twice since i last posted. I’ve been crazy busy.

Car is ready to go to my mates now to finish the wiring and button it all up but his currently building a new carport. Gotta wait til that’s finished before I can get the car back there.

Looks good mate, one would think you live in Werribee with those rattle can skills. So is that it now?

    Final Assembly next?

No “working” in this garage, its purely storage/display/man cave. I have my “workshop” at home, that’s where the work happens. I actually used a paint on sealer on that floor, its sort of works, oils spills clean up easy. I want something that’s practical, looks nice and relatively inexpensive. I like the idea of the interlocking “tiles” , they arent stick down, and you can make a nice design, and if anything happens, pull them up and replace the damaged ones.

    .

If its purely for show and entertainment, i like a nice epoxy

Looked into this when I first moved here, there’s + and – for all of the alternatives, as nice as it would have been in the end I didn’t bother.. If I have spills I’ve found the cheap SuperCheap degreaser actually floats the Oil up and out of the concrete then you just wipe it up with a rag.

Thats it. There is always a trade off.

You either keep it pretty or you keep it practical

    Jack on wheels is ok.
When he uses jack stand he puts a timber under the stand.

    The roll stuff.

Mate has it & it’s great. Make sure it comes 100-150mm up the walls, that way u can just hose everything off. Get any pattern you want.

VK looks absolutely mint!! Mind me asking if you are happy with those coloured tiles on your garage floor, looking at options for mine…

Ill take a stab and say that’s the detailers garage.
