February 6, 2019 at 8:23 pm #27912What’s the cam specs?
If it’s overly large you will blitz past the torque and power delievery and shift it all past 4000+
February 5, 2019 at 9:50 pm #27890If you finish this car before mine I’ll be forced to ban you…….
February 4, 2019 at 3:19 pm #27873Ohhhhhh I like where this is going.
January 30, 2019 at 6:12 pm #27840Surely it’s been on the dyno. Wtf is he doing.
January 27, 2019 at 4:26 pm #27836But do you have a kart??
January 22, 2019 at 8:47 pm #27824Give it an enema. I generally do 1000km prior to using coolant.
January 22, 2019 at 9:58 am #27818You get pretty quick at it anyhow.
my misses will agree.
January 21, 2019 at 2:53 pm #27813Last time was only dummy assembly. To measure up bits and pieces.

ahh yeah I’ve seen these doobalackeys before. I might have to invest in beers so I can borrow yours hahahahha
nah I’ll buy that 3/16 one. I’m using hardrawn 1/2 so won’t need to straighten it.
January 4, 2019 at 6:48 am #27748Best part is. Once your finished painting. You can tell the wife you brought her a beautiful gazebo as a suprise for the hard work she does around the house. 😂😂😂
January 4, 2019 at 6:46 am #27747All good Gary, not a lot happening here for another month anyway, the Aeroflow one is adjustable, I used it on my -8 fuel line and my 3/16th brakeline and everything in between.
Got a link for this one? I dare say if it’s multi sized it will be more then $100 lol.
January 3, 2019 at 3:10 pm #27740I did mine in stainless, looks scmick as, little harder to work. If I did it again I would probably have borrowed or made a tube straightener. Now I have a 3D printer i prob would have made one.
Main reason why I want hardline. So I don’t have to straighten it.
What stainless did you use?
What sort of gizmo could you make?
January 2, 2019 at 9:23 pm #27735Yeah for my brake lines.
I would like it in hard drawn if possible.
January 2, 2019 at 10:08 am #27732Its not a massive or costly job to get parts re-anodised in black if you get stuck Cav. I did on my injector adapters.
Yeah that’s was my last resort. If it can’t find anything.
Im most likely going to make my lines and then get them coated anyways.
Im struggling to find some 3/16 in hard drawn.
January 1, 2019 at 11:36 pm #27729Ian, Where abouts you buy your fittings from? I’m trying to source some bulkheads and inverted flares to suit the vz master for mine. But I wanna try and find them in black if possible. Ever seen any?
December 30, 2018 at 9:51 pm #27718Hey cava that is awesome if you get a chance can you take a photo from underneath for the headers I am going to build my own header so would be good to see what room there is , not sure if you have read my build of late but I have finely brought a lsa for the vh
yeah I browsed your thread other day. There isn’t much room. But I rekon these could of been done a lot better. Tri Y would be best interns of clearance.
Maybe look into a 1 7/8 tri y setup.
December 30, 2018 at 10:55 am #27713I should of gone custom from the start. These owe me $650. So I persisted with them….. sadly.
Bracket is from Lowe fab that I got powder coated. Along with strut tops and my brace etc.
Master booster is a painted Vz Maloo item. Cap and reservoir is New old stock.
December 30, 2018 at 10:11 am #27711Good mate of mine come around yesterday and gave it a good crack.
We got the engine, box and headers in. Was a bit of fluffling around. We had to trail fit the box and then removed it so we could clearance sections on the case to clear the tunnel.
Next was the headers…. for an off the shelf item that I then had to get modified the fitment is junk. Not happy with them, but for now it will have to do.
It’s starting to take shape and you can now see the black and white theme coming together.
Now I can start running all my service lines. Prior to removing the engine again. 😩😩
