Yeah they would be heaps stiffer then king ssl that’s for sure They match the front springs in the coil over kit and it’s not really designed for comofort it’s designed to stop body roll and handle well for street car that wouldn’t mind seeing a track They have other shocks and springs if you want comfort The kit they come with has adjustable rear shocks and and when on soft it’s not to bad but still stiff and when it’s on hard it’s not comfortable at all, would be ok if the road was perfect and had really smooth roundabouts
You got XYZ yeah? How u find them?
April 8, 2015 at 9:14 pm #4307Do my downloading at the olds house. I’m in the clear hahahahah

April 8, 2015 at 9:11 pm #4306Good upgrade. Did this in my ute.
The yanks love this mod.
April 8, 2015 at 4:00 am #4220This cost $12 grand Tell them to throw a 383 crank and rods in it and to make the comp 13.0:1 and I’ll bet my left testie it makes 600hp on e85 And I bet it comes in under $13 grand The biggest price blow out would be it’s right on the limits of needing come 600series heads and would blow the cost out another $1 or 2 grand over the Pavteks full race port heads Dam it why won’t links work ?? Pavteks gold pro 355 is the link
pavtek have a discounted gold pro motor 525HP at 16k for long motor atm.
There would be close to 4-5k alone in a COMPLETE set of heads to make that sort of power. Then a Solid roller in the high to low 260’s/270’s, with some decent spring pressure.
Not something u could really take on a 200-300km cruise. Prob have be replacing lifters every 5k to be safe also.
Ported single plane etc with plenum and runner work. All adds up. Be very close to 20k complete

April 7, 2015 at 5:16 pm #4162My motor was only slightly more then yours Gary If I went my motor in 383 with 13.0:1 hi comp for e85 it would of come in about 2k cheaper or pretty much exactly the same as $12500 as I have the steel crank not a cast crank So could have a 600+hp N/A holden for about the same cost of the lsx454 I know the lsx can be upgraded more though just saying for the conversion sake I think the winning bang for buck now for 650-800hp and reliable is a LSA create engine
Think your under estimating what it costs to have a 600HP naturally aspirated holden based engine….
It won’t be very streetable either.
April 7, 2015 at 3:00 pm #4125Budget dictates everything. Until a number is stated its all gossip.
April 7, 2015 at 10:50 am #4105For $500 yes. $3k no
April 7, 2015 at 10:48 am #4104Just delete the rear muffler on what u have now and replace with straight pipe.
April 7, 2015 at 9:53 am #4098We talk about bang for buck being in the LS side but what if you have a 5 litre powered commodore or kingswood and only have 5-10k buddget for everything, engine, trans, fuel system, full exhaust, mounts, tuning, Is 5-10k better off spent on the 5 litre getting it angry or a LS conversion?
10k doesn’t get u far when ur talking about doing all of that. Would be hard pressed to do it all with an Ls conversion. What exactly are u after. And what car?
April 7, 2015 at 3:37 am #4092What’s the best pass you have had out of it?
What’s plans comp and cam wise?? Who’s doing the heads.
April 6, 2015 at 11:33 am #4038I have mild OCD I think.. which is very painful because you are always finding fault with things which others would say is find or they cannot see what I’m talking about. Its going off the a specialist painless dent guy who is one of the best in Oz and after that I replacing the whole sticker kit. Then it will be closer to being mint in my eyes..lol Looking water injection kits now.
prob more gains to be had by going cooler first.
April 6, 2015 at 10:05 am #4020Claydo dropped to a 284 with his v7 355 that was running 9’s after he put it in his Vn and made it streetable. I’ve been in that and it hammers 440 odd RWHP. That
Another mates got a 284 in his 200+km stock vn with a precision 6766 hanging off the side. That’ went 300rwkw at 6000. Its a great cam. Tried and tested.
April 6, 2015 at 8:01 am #3998Crane 284 is a VERY good off the shelf boosted cam. Tried and tested.
April 4, 2015 at 7:06 pm #3956I wouldn’t waste $2k on a set of headers that come from a shelf.
April 4, 2015 at 6:26 pm #3948This car is stupid clean. Looks mint Lloyd.
April 4, 2015 at 6:22 pm #3947Timing sounds wrong.
Its meant ant to have a banger engine isn’t it?
April 4, 2015 at 5:09 pm #3935Ahh k fair enough enough mate. cast heads would of been more then up to the task.
April 4, 2015 at 5:08 pm #3932If the cap is rotating that’s timing. Did they bother to throw a timing light on it?
Could also ls odo the basics. Comp test and leak down.
April 4, 2015 at 5:06 pm #3930Will be $4500-5000 one would imagine.
