<p style=”text-align: left;”>Pretty sure mine are all the same. M10x1 is very fine Cav, I think that’s the rear irs drive shaft bolts. I am thinking m10x1.5.</p>
Your probably right….. but imcertain the bolts on each side are all the same size. One of the bolts on the passenger side head is slightly longer as it has the bracket for the alternator support on it also.
You can find a photo of this on my thread on the last page.
October 7, 2019 at 6:22 am #29994I always thought they were m10x1.0
October 3, 2019 at 1:41 pm #29969I was in Adelaide over the weekend. I should of called for my <span style=”font-family: ‘.SFUIText’; font-size: 16pt; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;”>Chauffeur</span><span style=”font-family: ‘.SFUIText’; font-size: 16pt; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;”> </span>
September 30, 2019 at 1:12 pm #29926As above Axles, but right up there is doing something then thinking of a better way as I finish… I’m probably the worlds worst person to be doing mechanical work as I really dislike being Dirty..
wait until you have to service a Landcruiser after its been sunk to the door handles.
September 25, 2019 at 6:25 am #29859September 18, 2019 at 1:21 pm #29806Looking great Cav. Really nice. Have you got a part number for the an adaptors that come out of the vz brake master? 12×1 Speedflow dual seat adaptor?
I can chase the number when I get home. But it’s a M10x1.0 dual seat back to -3
September 11, 2019 at 6:22 pm #29773Lol I have like 5 x500ml tubs of it at home. If only I knew
September 10, 2019 at 7:26 pm #29763Lot more involved with doing a section of hard line. Plus buy the time you do all the adapters etc it will be 200mm long
September 10, 2019 at 10:37 am #29761I reckon that would look way better if you made up some hardlines out of tube down to the bottom left of the engine and coat them black. Then just the flexible hoses across to the cooler with 90 degree fittings.
Nah too much work and too many more fittings. Im just gunna buy some 30’s and do it in push lock. I’ve already drilled the guard also.
September 9, 2019 at 8:01 pm #29747Bit more done today.
I finished the last brake line under the guards. I also ran some water lines for the w2a.
I’m not digging it think I’ll change the straight fittings to some 30’s or 45’s.
I’ll also buy another black 90 as that one red and blue fitting burns me hahah.
Can also see my braided brake lines. For an off the shelf item I’m not very happy with them so I think I’ll return them and get another set done.
September 8, 2019 at 12:11 pm #29732Good news. The thermo fan should be all controlled via the ECU.
Does the car have a tune in it?
September 8, 2019 at 8:27 am #29729AC bracket should clear the front sump mounted dipstick Cav..
ahh ok. Wasn’t too sure to be honest.
The one I have is flexible but I’d imagine the more you try and dodge the more you take off the overall length of it. Then you may have issues with it not reaching the bolt hole
September 7, 2019 at 9:39 pm #29726Dunno how big the Ac is to be honest.
The factory dipstick location on LSA is on the block and the back. It’s now on the front in the sump. So it could potentially clash
September 7, 2019 at 6:49 pm #29723My mate tony come past today and we gave it another decent nudge.
We got the box and converter in finally. After 2 attempts. Not something I want to do again on jack stands. That’s for sure.
Anyways. It’s all in and in place. I need to buy some new bell housing bolts. The ones I have are too short. As are my converter bolts. No biggie.
Headers and now in final position. Manual rack is in and I’ve installed my head shields for the boots. Starter is all buttoned up and awaiting wiring.
Long list of things to do. But I’ll chip away at it slowly and get it all pieced together.
I’ll finish off the fluid lines now that trans is in place. Once that’s done diff is out to get all the bushes changed out. Then I can setup my pinion angle etc and then adjust my trans mount accordingly.
Fun times.

September 6, 2019 at 5:30 pm #29711Nice work Gary. How does the vents perform.
September 6, 2019 at 5:28 pm #29710Would of been easier if you just gave it to me hahah
September 6, 2019 at 3:07 pm #29706Don’t think it’s much of an issue, pump #1 at half speed at idle and cruise is barely working so it’s not wearing like it would running flat out, modern pumps have a great lifespan.
i have to pick your brain on how I can get the one controller to half speed 1 pump and rpm activate the other
