Ls2 no worries. The 6l80 might be another story. I believe it’s a very big box, might not fit, you also need to work out how your going to control the auto being electronic I don’t think it’s plug and play.

either way would be a cracker setup

Been for a few cheeky drives whilst it’s on its unregistered permit.

Honestly drives like a new car in terms of its manners. Even the t400 with the 3.08 is a pleasure to drive.

Stand on it and it just shreds the tires. 1st is useless and 2nd any more then 1/2 throttle by 3500 it’s a smoke show.

I think I’ve already shagged the diff. Few too many power skids and it’s single spinning.

Nice work Cava, gonna be a handfull even with that power.

I took it for a spin. It turns the tires off idle. The torque is instant.

    343kw@5psi boost. 5800rpm

Stock hsv tune with 60% fuel remove to account for the under sized air box. No chasing power etc. Its just for engineering.

That snout would of set you back a pretty penny.

also good luck with those headers. They are a nightmare to fit.

    great progress

Not much to report lately. Planning on going to Powercruise Sydney in a few months time, first event for me where I’ve entered a car. The VK is running well at the moment. Going to driop it off at the tuners for a once over in the next few weeks. Also looking into getting a Haltech iC-7 dash. I need to get some gauges to keep an eye on trans temp, oil pressure etc. and I think it’s gonna cost me a fair bit to get Autometer ones all wired up (around $500 at least just for the gauges, then sensors, getting them wired up etc.), so may as well spend a little more and get the iC-7 as it’ll be able to display most stuff I need from the ECU via OBD, and you can wire in up to 4 analogue inputs directly to the dash itself, so I can tap into the existing oil pressure sensor, and just get a trans temp sensor installed.

This is exactly what I have done re: the IC-7. Its a nice bit of gear.

The Dub Shop do a fantastic full kit. Not cheap but has great reviews, and is well proven. http://thedubshop.com/dual-throttle-body-fuel-injection-package-with-ignition-type-1/

For what’s included I reckon that’s cracker value.
