October 13, 2015 at 7:26 am #10060Ignore me if im wrong here but wouldnt you be better with a low pressure lift pump in the main tank if your running a surge tank there wouldn’t be a reason to run such a big pump prior to the surge would there afterall youll have a pressure pump after it.
wouldn’t you be running the chance of aeration in the fuel inside the surge force feeding it on start up and when the main pickup gets air

October 6, 2015 at 9:55 am #9884i was only on SC yesterday looking at this again, no updates over there as the forum is dead… disappointed i logged off wondering what happened with its progress… today i find this forum. mate this thing is EXCELLENT, I have a VL Berlina in storage and Ive contemplated an LS conversion… your Calais may have convinced me
Mate just do it its all i have to say i love my 308s and rbs but now this has had a proper tune its just so good to drive if im under 3k rpm its so smooth i could drive it daily no issues but over 3k it turns into a tyre shredder
October 6, 2015 at 9:52 am #9883Beautifil work mate, it’s the little things that make a big difference
Thanks mate sorry about the delayed response been so busy sorting the car out lol
September 1, 2015 at 9:42 pm #8902Thanks for the Info capssy and dave, I have been looking into it further looks like Vl pedals $250 and slave $150 that’s about half the price of the mal wood set-up will call mal wood to find out about the Vt piston upgrade. What radiator are you guys both running?
pwr vl turbo in mine but the vl rad support is differnt for vb to vk you can modify a vh rad support to take a vl rad the vl turbo rad has inlet and out let on the drivers side makes life easy with the ls1
August 26, 2015 at 10:05 pm #8769im running a mal woods shifter in mine works great firm shifts with the clutch master have you thought about going to a vl hydralic setup should bolt into a vh mal woods sells a vl master with a vt piston in it all youll need is a vl 6cyl pedal box

August 14, 2015 at 4:50 pm #8455thanks for that mate looks like i may be able to use it sorry about the thread hijack lol
August 14, 2015 at 1:47 pm #8453hey mate are you able to give me some dimensions for the power steering pump im thinking the vl could use one but my space is limited aswell
OK mate, so have been able to do this. It measures 260mm high from the very bottom to the top of the black fill cap. The base is sort of rectangular, so excluding the two bits that protrude that are the mounting points its 150mm x 110mm Trust that helps
thanks mate any chance of a pic of the wiring and inlet outlet fittings cheers
August 12, 2015 at 9:03 pm #8382thanks mate whenever you get a chance
