    went 1900 for 2 main reasons keep it under the bonnet and std comp engine if i can see a 50 kw power increase im happy

    At the moment  im running an aeromotive stealt as my main fuel pump and a corvette  filter reg for a regulator

    cav with your brake lines rather than using grommet and joiners behind why no use bulkhead fittings like i did sorry about the average pic couldnt find a better one

    on some other news looking at an intake change harrop 1900 charger

    Part of me says fark yea, a little part of me says nooooo

    i know i love the throts love the noise but ive been offered a charger for a price that cannot be refused so im a bit in limbo at the moment

    hey gents sorry for the delay between updates car now has a bit over 1000kms on it going good if anyone is intersted it will be at the hot rod show in january

    also on some other news  looking at an intake change harrop 1900 charger im just wondering if anyone with a 1900 charger can put up a pic and maybe a height measurement so i can work out bonnet clearance.

    Exactly right mate. An LSA in a patrol would be awesome out in the bush. Dont have the seat. Swapped them into my SS so I could sell that conplete

    yeah mate the patrol is just awsome haha and cool on the seats just thought id ask

    likeing the looks of this with the ncop side of it the weight to power ratio is more of a guideline than actual written in stone rules as the engineer has to work to adrs as well he can take into account brakes chasis modifications etc to make up for the lower weight but alas it is up to if the engineer is confortable signing it off because if the shit hits the fan it may bite him in the arse. the engineer who signed off my car had the opposite drama with a patrol with an lsa because he was concerned the car was to heavy for that size engine (patrol was previously engineered for a duramax) haha

    on a side note cav have you still got the original ss seats from this and do you want to sell them at all

    i almost bought this car twice haha if its the one im thinking of guy had a 355 combo in it fresh pain 4 point cage i held off and bought a ve for a daily  :negative: this was good buying for the coin cant wait to see what you do with it.  :good:

    tunes very rich at the moment

    better than lean

    Ohh yeah much better than lean ive found with the itbs they like to run a little  rich anyway its just a little bit to rich for me at the moment

    Drives great done almost 1000kms dumped the oil the other day trying to get to 2000km and throw it back on the dyno shes pretty  potent  under 2500 rpm its very civil but above that it just pulls very different  power delivery  to the old 5l clutch is a bit to get used to my fault because I went overkill with it lol plan at the moment  is to bed it in then back on the dyno  lean it out a bit tunes very  rich at the moment  thats about my only real issue other than that very happy

    Funny isn’t it, we poor our heart and soul into building a car, and just as its finished attention turns to whats next If you start another project, even if its not Commodore based, love you to chuck up a build thread

    haha yeah ill still be adding and changing the vl over time and yeah next project wont be a commodore but ill put a thread up im on the hunt for a 1948 to 52 chevrolet 3100 pickup in the hopes to make it my daily

    Loving the updates mate awesome to see it running so….. Still considering selling the frs? What size etc are they

    thanks mate and yeah will eventually change the frs but for the minute im sticking with them im looking at another project so wheels might have to wait
