All the vy/z at the wreckers were stripped. will look around again after xmas.

Are you able to do a double din 3 gauge holder for where the stereo goes in a vz? I would want the gauges angled toward driver and the bottom half flat for switches.

Am ripping out the ase kit and garrett turbo, replacing with a killaboost and borg t6 setup. ase kit is for sale if anyone knows of someone looking for an entry level kit

Am thinking I will go this way with the vz constant headache/money muncher. New turbo and setup coming soon after engine bay fire.

I painted the bonnet satin black, and messed up the paint mix and it turned out stripey. Will rub it back and respray it white while it is getting fixed again. Trucking it to a mates shed next week to see just how bad it actually is. From above it doesnt look to bad.

Just re read your whole build, coming along really well. Good work. With your speakers, can you use stainless allen bolts with washers and nyloc nuts? Would look neater than the screws in the black wood. Of course if you carpet everything it doesn’t matter.

So, had a small fire in the engine bay on thursday night. Trans cooler line split, and lit up on the crossover pipe. So….that was a bit shitey. Not alot of damage, luckily.

Has been on the road for a couple of months now. Done a couple of hundred km’s. All good. Turns tyres pretty easy. 

I was under the impression that vr/vs had the best clearance for wide rims. i had 255/35/20’s on the ss and scrubbed under hard acceleration on standard fe2 suspension on the inside and the gaurd. the tyre was fitted to an 8.5inch rim.

I chatted with him on messenger, and he said he has a guy who makes cv’s that will handle the horsepower my car is making to. What cv’s do you guys run? An LSX454 would surely destroy standard cv’s pretty quick.
