Sounds like you need a guy with hammer. So happens, I have a hammer.

It’s def a completely different animal compared to the VR weight distribution wise.  Is there potential, or is it worth attempting to make a couple of options position wise so you can tune it once it’s running?  or is better to go where you think best then work from there?

Yeah none of the crate motors come with that. Which is stupid as they need it to run the blower drive

the item you change when you boost it is just the bracket. They are only $150

What made you buy that? Wouldn’t of been cheap

They are fair chunky looking. Not subtle.

You need a VE bracket and alternator to suit your pulley offset.

You will also need to buy a blower tensioner bracket and the upper and lower tensioner pulley.

Also need some sort of idler to fill power steering pump void.

Get it all from HSV direct.
