Seeing IJ’s comment about how he hates working on the axles on his car started me thinking.
For me, I hate working on brakes. They are always filthy dirty shitty things. It doesn’t seem to matter how much you try and clean them before working on them, you end up with black crap everywhere.

Yea I live in Gawler which is an hour north of Adelaide, so house prices are nothing like the city. Suesy and I like to travel and I like cars (obviously!) so we decided to trade living in a funky expensive area for somewhere nice but less pricey. Then we can spend $$ on what we both love. So far so good

So this place is about 2 mins from my house. At my house I have my decked out 9x6m workshop, with the lift, that’s where I built the Senator, etc. My idea is that is where I will be building the current car, but that’s all. The problem I have now is I need to drive the Senator out, then move the Ko…[Read more]

Yea agreed, and what seems to happen is at first its just one small error, and then you build something off that, which amplifies the error and so on and so on. My Grandad was anal about making things straight and square, sort of rubbed off on me, and it does pay dividends later on. Builds coming along sweet mate.
