What? You mean there is no off the shelf solution for an E36 with 600+HP mid-mounted LS, that’s being built for dirt and tarmac events. Go figure

Just curious IJ, is it a specific kind of steel, and what sort of heat treatment process is it?
If I remember engineering correctly the torsional stiffness of a bar is proportional to the 4th power of its diameter. So twice the diameter is 16 times stiffer. That’s why very small increments in diameter change like 1 or 2mm make a big difference…[Read more]

No cooler at the moment IJ, I have one, just never fitted it. It was down a little on fluid, topped it up, and was perfect on the way home. So that maybe shows its OK but marginal so def fitting the cooler is on the list. Still not sure about this slight weirdness in the rear, might take it to Gawler Mechanical so they can put it on their 4 po…[Read more]

So that’s just a simple case of mounting the rocker switch that toggles between the two settings up in the cabin. That will do for now. But the powe…[Read more]

This is the first shed I have ever bought and not erected myself. Decided 18×6 was just too much. Looking at the quality so far have to say I think it was worth getting the pros to do it. And so much quicker than would have ever been.

Mine is in the glovebox. I didn’t mount it as such. I just wanted somewhere easy to get too, but I think down in the passenger kick panel is probably a better spot.
