Well, a slight hiccup, getting roller rockers to fit my LS7 heads is not as straight forward as I thought… So looks like I need to sell that second kidney (thank god for dialysis) to pay for these trick Jesel ones.

Well, that was a long day for not too much to show for it! It was missing the 5 countersunk screws that hold the brake drums to the hubs. Lots of the fasteners on the car re very off ball. It was made that not long after the second world war so stuff was still hard to get. Morris had actually bought some french fastener company, so some of th…[Read more]

They are like 50lb from memory. Soon as you pulley up you will come very close to max cycle.
Like any engine, too big and it makes them difficult to tune and run nicely

You won’t get that “rumble”from a v6.
Just buy an off the shelf system, somthing like a red back setup etc. Cheaper, easier and basically the same. You can install it all your self.
FYI only need one thread about the same topic 👍

That’s the 4 brakes done. Its like Antarctica in Adelaide today! Had to take one front side off as a pair as I just couldn’t break the drum from the hub, then used my press and got them apart, they had lightly rusted together.
The brakes, pads etc actually look good. So have cleaned them all up with a rotary wire brush and hit then with some b…[Read more]
