Posts: 206I couldn’t have asked for a better first night at Calder Park.Raven ran 10.92 @ 127, 1.77 60′ straight off the trailer.PB of the night was a 10.73 @ 128. 1.64 60′Time to chase a number and see what we can come up with. The car will stay as is for the Holden Nationals at Heathcote, and during the winter the box will come out and a looser convert will be put in. it was unfortunately a bit tight for for the combo. apart from that, zero issues which is always a good day. Many Many thanks to:Matt Smoors, Christy McGill, Scott McCafferty, Cameron Jones, Jess Handbrake, Jason Kenny, Daniel Deering, Adam Harrison, Casey Automotive, Next Gen Race CarsPhoto Credit Peter Fergadiotis and thanks for the push- This reply was modified 7 years, 8 months ago by Bdj_007.

Posts: 206sounds like joys of shit tradesmen lol i still bloody love this thing.
Tell me about it man. It sucks. Just costs money.
I’ll be racing for the first time at Calder in the Vl on the 7th as well.
Can’t wait to go fast!Thats not good lucky it was found. Considered a larger air filter to fill that opening more? You going to all holden day ?
Well, the bonnet cost me $50 with the hole already cut. It was mainly to get me through summernats when i was running low on cash. And nah, big filters look stink. It’s actually getting a 4″ cowl for street duties.
Yep, i’ll be there. I’ll be the tall dude with curly hair and glassesIs your radiator like a vl turbo one or larger? What bottom hose did you use if you can remember.. Mine has a kink in it once it got warm and the shape changed so want to swap it to something that is the right shape. Cheers Justin.
Mines a custom made one by South Coast Radiators in NSW.
My inlets are on opposing sides so i get a full 3 passes in the radiator to cool it down.
I use:
Ch5472 – upper (off a ve)Ch3585 – lower (off a patrol)

The diff is out of the car.
After getting a wheel alignment done just before summernats, it came back with a 4 degree (12mm) tow out on the passenger side.
That is huge! Explains why it crab walked when you used to boot it.
Anyway, it was dropped off at next gen race cars to get fixed.
I got a call from them yesterday and it has a bent tube.
Turns out the flange was welded on crooked to try counter the bow.
Definitely not ideal. Chewed out the bearing like it was nothing.
Plus 1x axle was 5mm too long and was not pressing in properly.
The joys of cars!!

Did you see me mate? haha I kept an ear out haha.
Bloody only saw it parked up on the grass… Didn’t spot it cruising once
Nice! Hope the car didn’t disapoint. I tried to keep it clean.
Friday and Saturday were a no go for cruising. After i saw a car behind me get the interior launched with red powerade i decided to park it. It was only 11am on Friday to :(
Cruised all day Thursday and Sunday though. Friday and Saturday I was at the ppg tent stalking Charlie Hutton at all his meet and greets.

Posts: 206Hey Mate car looks killer just looking thru your pics, and liking the cooler and fans set up. Did you have to modify the radiator support on the car or just drop it in. How much was it if you don’t me asking too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It just dropped in.
It was custom made by Rick at South Coast Radiators.
With having the outlets on either side we are able to run 3x passes through the radiator and helps in a big way cooling it down.
Best of all its not an alloy radiator.
