I have gone the past 3 years entering my silver vx.

This year will be off the chain packed.

Dont think in the actual grounds ill get much cruising but its more the night crusing im looking forward to

The Vl had its maiden voyage to Stout Automotives open day last Sunday.

Very surreal to be out driving and enjoying it. Just needs a wheel alignment and adjust the steering wheel.

Drove the Vl in to Casey Automotive for a tune and with Simons magic touch came out with 293kw at the wheels.

Not a numbers person by anymeans, but, Very very happy with the result the car drives killer and is absolutely lethal.

Drove it back from Loaders and Matt just gave it a once over, then it’s ready ready for a tune!

The steering knuckle fouls the pipes something fierce.

FYI if you are doing one of these conversions use a v8 kframe with tuff mounts.

The rb30 kframe with tuff mounts sit a whole inch lower [which really isnt a bad thing for the vl] and therefore fouls the pipes.

Been so busy getting the car going i have had little time to upload some updates!

Dash is back together and added some gauges. Tacho I once thought was overkill but have grown to like it.

Its amazing.

This is a whole different kettle of fish compared to the first time i started the vx

Turn the sound up  

All stone guard dries a matte black finish and has a frost white hue to it. nature of the beast unfortunately.

You can always throw gmh black over the top when its somewhat dry as you are able to paint over it.

Negative, not a fan of stone guard. I’d paint it the correct factory undercoat if and when i eventually repaint the car.

I’m a brand snob, so Teroson water based stone guard would be my preference if i was ever able to do it [we use it on insurance jobs at work replicating the factory chip on sills] it is awesome stone guard.

The bulkhead thats got nothing on it is the breather. Ran out of braid haha. It will vent in the fuel flap with a filter on the end apparently haha.

Got my radiator from south coast radiators and have got it installed.

Matt even found top and bottom hoses to fit! Thats a good day haha.

Yeah man, looks phat as!

It is braid in the bay to bulk head, then hardline from the bulkhead to the back of the back doors, braid over the diff then into another bulk head then into hardline into the cell.

Boot setups nearly done. Cam [AngryT] and Matt [Fstgmh] have made this look killer.

Running 2x in tank bosch 040 pumps in the 60L cell

Top line is a breather

Middle is a return

Bottom is a feeder

Hey Juzzie,

It isn’t uncommon to be able to fit a 275 under the bum [not x275], without tubbing.

You will lose the qtr lip straight up to fit it, plus the car will have to be jacked up a bit more than mine.

Check out the D’Annello Performance Vl’s, they have a few running that setup.
