Posts: 140I have completed the trunnion upgrade. The heads are back on the car and the inlet manifold is on. I bought a new harmonic balancer on the weekend and installed it. Ill finish off some more tonight.
The cheap valve spring tool i bought worked really well.

Posts: 140Yeah i know, There is tape on them just not in the photo. I was going to put the manifold back on. I ran out of time so i put new tape on.

Posts: 140its actually not too bad apart from the alternator bracket. Going to be fun getting the old graphite head gaskets off. I think im going to use the gasket remover spray. I have the lifters soaking in oil. I have done the valve springs in one head, i will do the other tonight. I still have to drop the sump to do the oil pump then i can do the timing chain.
