No mate best it ever made was 508 rwhp, which I think was around 620 fwhp.  If I am in the 700’s I will be happy.  Btw just got told they have spun it up and its got great oil pressure, hopefully make some noise soon.

If it has an 8 in front of it, I may need a medic…

So a week ends work then

Well its bolted up, first small hiccup, when I changed the reluctor to 24 teeth, seems the corresponding cam sprocket is needed (I had no idea)  Luckily I have a split timing case, so should be pretty easy to swap over.  Everything else is looking good for a full days noise tomorrow…

I reckon its a great skill to learn Cav, and tbh not hard to become good enough to get by.

Just been around to sign the “all care but no responsibility” form.  It is literally sitting at the doorway to the dyno room.  Let’s see if they can get it hooked up and started today, not sure how far they will get.  They have sorted a pair of taller rocker covers for the dyno work.  I am sure there will be issues, but fingers crossed.
