I have those they are great. Imo if I were doing mine again I would go all series 200 Teflon. Firstly its all rated to high pressure so you can use it anywhere, like power steering etc. Its also impervious to anything like E85 etc. But its also way easier to fit the fttings on (and off)

Do you think that plates needed? I looked at it and it seemd like overkill? I guess in autocross.

Well my in-laws have sold their house so I need3d to move the Nash, have got it home to the block. Definitely going to keep it original, its far too good to hotrod. So I guess it will le in wait, and awaits its turn once I get through some of these other projects

Nice to be using the old girl for what I got it for. My in-laws have sold their farm so I needed to bring the Nash home.

Are there any regs as to who can work on, and what can be done to a roll cage IJ? Or does it depend on where and what you are competing in? Looking super neat btw.

Very controversial subject radiator shrouds. The issue with them is they can do just that, shroud parts of the radiator and decrease the efficiency of the radiator if they sit too close. Mine doesn’t have a shroud at all and works perfectly. I do appreciate burnout cars doing little speed but lots of revs are maybe a different matter th…[Read more]

Mate you work so fast if I am off the forum for a few days and you have powered a long. Those headers have to be the bargain of the century for $200. I agree it looks tough as with the flares, and the cage is coming along really well. Keep up the good work fine sir.

Looks like I missed an update from last weekend. Have decided to move on, going to get stuck into this thing and get it back where it belongs, back on the road, frying tyres and scaring me.
Started off by rounding everything up, giving it all a cleaned and see where I am at. Decided to remove the suspension off the K frame so it will be a l…[Read more]

Thanks all, yes tbh at least in my eyes they have handled this terribly and look childish with some of the comments they have made and the personal insults. But at least I did get a chuckle when I saw they said I made “amateur mistakes” building the engine. Yes, I did, I happily admit that. It was because I am an amateur!! But in my def…[Read more]

Thanks guys. Yea that was pretty much dyno time . TheiT dyno went down for 2 1/2 days with a sheared water pump through the session . No mention of that from them. No apologies for the delay, nothing. Just so over it right now. Sort of feel angry at myself feeling like that but also just can’t bring myself to touch it.

Hi all, well those that have been following my build, know I am passionate about my car, and also that I try to be very open and honest about the whole build process. So people have been asking for updates. The fact is the engine is just literally sitting on the shed floor right now covered in a blanket as I really am not feeling the passion f…[Read more]
