It must be down to the quality of how it’s applied, as I say mine aren’t too bad after a couple of years now.

Well, I thought I would share this with you guys first, so Street Machine have a photographer coming over tonight to take photos of the engine. Not totally sure about all the details, but I believe it’s going to be in the LSX Tuner mag, also potentially mill of the month in the regular mag and maybe online somehow. Pretty stoked about it tbh, s…[Read more]

No that’s just how it’s aged. I tried to “polish” it but nothing I used seem to make it come up any better. (not sure if anyone else has any ideas?) I did consider getting it redone, but the truth is once it’s in the car you don’t really see it.

Should have just made a full chassis car and raced sports sedan ha ha. All good mate, “transferring” all the driveline from a largish VR 4 door to a smaller 2 door coupe was always going to involve “developments”.

Yep a couple of guys have said it’s like a street legal V8 supercar. I know it’s not but probably as close as I could make it . I think they are 620hp? Not sure of the torque.

Well, again not surprising you are getting a bit of scope creep. Especially when you have the fab skills to do it.

Well have some exciting news, secret squirrel but stay tuned. Upshot is i need to get my skates on and get it all buttoned up and looking good and ready to go. Spent a nice solid day yesterday, its pretty much done now. So I am having a “visitor” this week, but then all, things being equal should be good to get stuck into the actual install in…[Read more]

Mate. Not surprised you are a little overwhelmed with the task. But it’s going to be a weapon. Take your time.

I just took mine up over the tunnel, neat and simple. Lots of ways to skin a cat though.

What the plan with the tunnel IJ. Maybe slice the original down the middle and put a strip in it, or is it a whole new fab job? Looks awesome btw, and agree by the photos looks like you will need to be super model thin to fit in it…

Not the greatest pic, and I only did this as this is the full single exhaust I ran when I went through Regency. I don’t run it like that anymore and had no issues.

I am guessing there’s maybe 25mm of clearance, no, no issues with the engineer. It does remind me though, before taking it to Regency I did make up some covers, not sure I have a pic though, give me a sec and I will see if I can find one.

This is how I did my fuel lines, I put heatproof tubing where they go over the exhaust. I then have braided lines up across the tunnel above the trans.

Nice work, great you are able to “address” issues you struck with the Lexcan.

Looked at them too, sort of again I think are a bit of overkill. Which I will freely admit is a little ironic coming from me….

Nah Cav, the Kool Tools are split collars you use to help feed the braid, the vice clamps are just to hold the fitting.
