Yep rebuild went well, runs great now, I guess once I take it on a longer drive will see if the fuel economy is better.  Sort of wanted to keep the look of all the lines factory, so sticking with a similar type.

Finally got around to rebuilding the carby on the weekend,. Its was basically full of 30 years of crud.   Next, I want to work through a replace all the various vacuum lines as they are pretty sad and sorry.

There’s some very nice builds on here, but yep, sure is cold out there!

Some jobs are just tedious…  Does the car get most of its chassis strength through the roll cage IJ, or will this help as well?

Yep, a guy I worked for used to say “nobody has a mandate on good ideas”  And at least the wireframe as you say is setting the broad minimum envelope. Nice work.

Sure is!  Mines officially an “11 Window” Can’t really find a pic if exactly what I have planned. I think that’s a good thing!
