Thanks IJ, yea I am kicking myself a little, back when I bought my TIG I didn’t have the $$ to go for one that would do Ally. I don’t 3want a third welder… A mate runs an aluminium boat business and swears by them, might do some research. Another thing I need I think is a foot pedal for my TIG, do you have one or is on the torch?

How did you weld that IJ? I am looking at a MIG spool gun, or is that TIG?

Love that interior shot mate, very neat and purposeful. Should also make it way easier to troubleshoot if there are any gremlins.

How does that work IJ? I assumed the power feed goes up to it? Or it a cable operated gizmo?

We sure take modern cars for granted. Hot, cold, rain, shine whatever, hit the key and they start and purr. They also use no fuel and are incredibly reliable.

Hadn’t thought of it that way, makes perfect sense. I guess too by the time you have changed the map, the engines warmed up a bit.

Hi Frazer, should maybe be able to, although I have it over at a secret squirrel location. while I do the Kombi. But as it turns out I thought its time to fire it up and take it for a drive. So had it on charge today. This is the first fire up for a few months, apologies the video is a little dark. But I think its a bit angry I have been igno…[Read more]

That’s the section above the passenger side door done, what a pita, working above you head is never easy, especially welding etc. But pretty happy with the results. I think that’s the passenger side front pretty well done. So prob time to spend some time with the grinder and tidy everything up. Then its swap it around on the hoist and get stu…[Read more]
