That’s fantastic, just wanted to see what was done. Not often you see a custom front and rear k-frame on a VS.

yes that’s a possibility with the BCM bus master. I haven’t read the specs on the custom code for a while but I believe all the trip computer stuff works.

Which controller are you using?

In theory, for a V6 you can use an ecotec VY dash and the ecotec VY PCM everything should work as per the factory with the exception of VATs which youd need to turn off. Or ‘424 PCM with modified code for Class 1 dash data

For 5L you could use a LS1 pcm + PIM from a VY or the stock ‘424 PCM with modified code for the Class1 dash…[Read more]

VY dash would be a nice touch, matches well with a VY indicator and wiper stalk haha

The Delco PCMs in the supercharger v6 commodores run a fuel pump controller. The PCM changes the fuel pump speed based on fuel demand so its not always running full tilt. I think the VU LS1 ute also had one

EFILive have a custom operating system for the LS1 PCM that has a NOS function, you wire up to a spare pin on the PCM and when it is activated the PCM switches to NOS fuelling and spark table.

What sort of calipers go with those discs?

Track days are great fun, just finding the time and who runs them at a reasonable price is the challenge haha. Oh and the list of mods that go to the top of the list immediately following a track day…

thank’s for the reply guys, I ordered 2 red bolt on straps earlier in the week and I’ll cut a slot in the bumper and have it hanging out. Easy to fibreglass the holes back up if I ever need to.
