I grew up in Adelaide, and never heard of anything like it…. Contact sporting car club of SA – http://www.sportingcarclubsa.org.au/ Pretty sure they are the biggest car club in SA, with MG car club second (dad’s a MG car club member).

Did another skid pan day, this time at night under lights. Was just as much fun as the first time. Got plenty of gopro footage will put something up when I get a chance.

The gov scrooge showed up with noise meters… I got a warning for putting the pedal to the floor when I spun, was trying to see if I would keep spinning

update – I changed the ignition module a lil over a week ago now. I have done 3 or 4 drives over a hour long and so far, touch wood, the gremlins have not come back. I even went and did the identical drive i did last time it played up. I’m a not willing to claim it as fixed yet but it is starting to look that way. Will give it another couple weeks…[Read more]

you live in Qld and don’t use A/C? I’m in Bris and crank mine all the time, but I think my leather seats may have something to do with it. I used to live in Darwin – thank god my A/C worked….

Cheers! i haven’t changed the sensors but I wondered if at almost 200,000km it might be a good idea.

Cheers manta. I wondered that myself but since I have changed the fuel filter recently, i’ve never let the tank go below a quarter and I still got it coughing and spluttering since then. The car had three quarter full tank too.

I wondered if I could get the tank cleaned out by someone – anyone know who does it in Brisbane?

One other thing I will say – having a $10k car meant I wasn’t too worried about writing it off. But if I had a $50k car I may have been a little more hesitant. Another mate doesn’t want to go back cos he had a sh*t ya pants moment in his $75k car, and I think the flashes of what his missus would say freaked him out.
