currently I run 16×7″ chasers on my vc and I am looking to widen them to 16×8 and run 245 45 16 rubber.

has any one done this and if so what ofset did you use? Front/rear?

Or for that matter has anyone done similar with a 15×8″ to give me an idea?

obviously any wheels 8″ wide will be great info for me, not just steel wheels..

as title says I’m after some 245 45 16 tyres. Anything not totally shagged and bald is fine.. I need them to measure my clearances before I get the steel wheels made up.

I was told (and I’m sure someone knows better than me!) street use you choose a cam suited for when your cam starts its ideal rev range and strip you choose one for when your engine is at peak hp.

But honestly I’d like to know more so hopefully some one can correct me haha.

If you want 15″ then wileood might be the best option, I think ve need a minimum of 16″? Nice job on the tank! I did the inverse, silver tank, black straps:)

Be very surprised if it could get signed off. As you have to cut and shut brake lines to install it.

Not true, mount it near the diff where there is a factory join, use correct flex brake line and fitting and you never cut anything, you only undo and redo fittings that are adr approved.
