The passenger side extractor runs so close to the footwell that the standard spray on sound deadening had started to fall off and the standard carpet underlay had fallen apart.

Ill have a look into the stato lower plastics as well may make a small difference as the firewall above that line doesn’t really have much heat/sound deadening

I am getting vsclubby355 big pacies so ill get them treated after cleaning them up

    Is it done yet?

Very funny,So been really busy with work, quoting jobs flat out and in process of getting my DBU, so ute has been on the back burner. Put a carpet underlay in that has a alloy sheet in the middle of it, hopefully give evan more heat protection.

Installed my new black carpet and new seat belts. As i have been going have been giving all the plastics a good clean and getting rid of all the built up dirt and dust from years as a work ute. Removed the jack assembly as well and will relocate to inside the tub.

Also fixed the problem of my 12 inch sub sounding mufled and distorting easy I removed covers that block 90mm holes that go between cab and where sub is mounted under tub. These were behind where my amps are mounted.  I then have remounted amps over the top but with 15mm rubber spacers so the air can freely move out as before sub sounded not great as not enough air space in the under tub area.

Whats involved in getting a garge/shed built big enough for hoists and stuff. How expensive is it and are the local councils a problem? I’m in VIC

Well unless you are on good terms with the neighbours you will need a permit as you do with any permanent structure. Been that you would also need a 3m plus high shed would also need planning permits and need to comply with set backs from boundaries.

Before you get any grand ideas of simply building a shed the local council love to use satellite images to check on people building without permits. Not to mention if installing a hoist you would want reinforced pads where hoist is sitting as would be some decent point loads on the slab i would think. I had to reinforce a slab just for a rollar dyno

Yea I reckon that’s because the drop box just makes such a nice clean install. CP is the new SC. Sadly SC is a ghost town. Quite a few of us on here did our best to try and save it but its just a matter of time before the plug is pulled. Imean here we are in 2016 and they still have a pic of the 2010 yearbook on the front page…

Lol i recruited him from SC, always over there telling people to come over, shame never got a chance to on vn ss before they stopped paying fees and no longer exists. Fb just not the same.

Can i ask how much did it cost to get the simmons widened?
