Yeah definitely an improvement over rear springs Cav. The system is fully self levelling so as the road or load changes they maintain tge same height you have pre set.

Found a few photos of the rear air bags when I was trial fitting them.

The second 2 photos are of the bag in place with height sensors wired in as well. Overall not a huge job and definitely a smoother ride when it is lowered better than springs imo.

It is thicker than wax and a lot tougher. Swirling and light scrathes wont affect it so they say.

Hey nice!!! Are you leaving the Dakota box there? As don’t think your standard surround will fit with that as the cigi ash tray will hit it

No moved the dekota box over just a bit still a plenty of room for the cigi ligther.

What power did you end up making with charger?

It actually made the same power as before 230rwkw but I had changed the diff ratio to 3.7s so little hard to compare with the old 3.08. The biggest issue is that its loosing 4.5 psi through the intercooler setup. I have another cooler to try. Its only short term as I will be adding water meth next year.

Looks mint. So whole car was ceramic coated??? Was that like a clear over the top of the old clear?? Or yeah?? Curious?

Yes mate coated all over, wheels as well and interior. It is Williams ceramic coat designed and used by the F1 team. It ended up getting 3 coats which ended up about 2000 microns ( most 2k paint is about 800-1000 microns I think )

Hi gents thought it might be time for a few updates on the ute. Picked it up today from the detailers after it got ceramic coated. The car came up amazing the paint is so deep now. So I only thought right that it got some new wheels to go with the new look.

After seeing the progress Slow355 has made with his interior I pulled my finger out and helped Gary get the panel fitting for the shift lights using the dekota digital box. Not a hard modification just takes some time to get the shifter in and working.

Photo bucket is playing up so I will get some more shots up later of the rear airbag suspension I fitted as well.

I ended up going with a levelride system they use slam specialty bags. The system is a full self levelling kit so as the road changes so does the air pressure to keep the car level. They are an aussie company look them up on FB.

It is one of only 2 kits that can be engineered in Australia.

The coilover kit i have in the front is k sport no real issues with them, i did get shorter rear coils made up as the coils they come with didnt drop it as much as i wanted.

The ride with the bags is actually really smooth doesn’t feel like your driving a boat.

Dont think it has a shift kit.
