Thanks Gary and Cava for the tips. I have gone vented for now and will look at a closed system if the time comes.

Thanks Gary, sounds like a good way to do it. Like everything its only an issue IF you get pulled over. I would be interested to see how you do it on yours when the time comes.

I was under the impression, not venting it would keep it some what legal.

When you had your canister you ran seperate lines to the catch can. Did you run a vacuum line off that at all?

Hi Guys i wanted to get some advice on the right way to run a catch can setup for my new motor. It wont be vented so wanted to see what advice people might be able to offer.

I know you had a setup on you stroker years ago Cava so just wanted to understand more about the right way to run the lines off the valve covers to a either a single can or 2 singles and where i should then run the return line to get the best results.

The new motor has a 4 barrel efi throttle body on top of the torque power manifold.

Thought i would put up some pics of my new garage. Bloody big job when you do it all yourself.

The new garage is only 5 m2 smaller than our 3 bedroom house!!

So glad its almost complete, just need the new hoist to go in and put things away and its full steam ahead again on the Ute.

Hey Southridge, i have used Prix transport from toowoomba and would never touch them again. Car turn up with empty beer cans in the back and sat outside after i was told it would be stored inside at the depot.

I have just used a private transport guy i found on gumtree he was great. I got a non running car  from the back of Perth over to Canberra for $1200. He was old school and looked after everything.

Im sure he works australia wide

His company is Imex haulage Chris Love 0403167370

Hey Sotta, biggest update is i just completed my 4 car garage and all that comes with that. So i can finally get back into the ute next month.

Small amount of wiring and it will be time to finally fire it up for the first time with the stroker. I will keep the updates coming.
