Vz muffler

Im not really looking for performance just the sound of it. Got an 05 vz executive. Single exhaust. I want to delete rear resonator with straight pipe and just a “rumble” muffler like a glass pack or something. Question is what muffler and size?

My local shop said $400 to do it. But i can do all the work minus the welding. Dont think ill require it if i can just clamp it all.

You won’t get that “rumble”from a v6.

Just buy an off the shelf system, somthing like a red back setup etc. Cheaper, easier and basically the same. You can install it all your self.

Thanks ill try it this weekend. Found a “fart can” at supercheap for cheap. I see i can unbolt the muffler from the tail pipe leaving a little bit of pipe attached to the muffler. Would i just need to cut it iff the muffler and attatch to new muffler with clamp?
