Hi, new to site so not sure where to look for answer.

VT auto.  Having trouble removing the shift knob.  Have remove the small screw from the front of the knob but the knob still wont come off.  I want to remove it as I am changing the standard surround  to a wood grain type from a calias. I have tried many swear words and threats but it still wont come off.  What’s the secret??  TIA

Nice work, I think theres a ton of that kind of info around on JC.  Calaisturbo seems pretty good for VL info too.
