I think the whole deal with ID’s is that they guarantee they are flowed, and matched etc.  I don’t know, they work in mine, my tuner likes them, and yes I am the best bloke in the whole world :good:

I would of expected Bosch flow rates to be accurate as well but they are way off, I was extremely supprised at how low they actually flowed and don’t know how they can be advertised as 1000cc when they are not even 80% of that yeah I will keep searching, Thing is 1300cc injector dynamics cost more then 2 arms and a leg and I don’t know of any other 1300cc injectors that even exist and the bosch 1650cc ones are $210 each so $1680 a set of 8 witch is still pretty pricey especially when can get Bosch 2200cc ones for like $60-$80 each but don’t know what they will be like down low

What fuel pressure are you running those injectors at and is the FPR manifold referenced?

I’d be weary of cheap injectors on ebay, there are so many cheap chinese copies these days :(

^I remember watching a video on YouTube talking to the guy from ID as he went through the factory.  One of the things they did was buy a laser etcher to put the part numbers etc onto the injector body so it was clear they weren’t fakes.  Apparently a lot of clone Bosch fuel pumps around too.

yes the reg is boost reffenced at 1:1

pressure was at 50psi above manifold pressure so when cranking pumps it was 50psi, while ideling it’s around 42psi and watching it on dyno as soon as throttle is touched it goes to 50 and climbs with boost up to 63psi

    it maxed out around 430rwkw

we cranked it up to 55psi above manifold pressure so with boost it climbed to 68psi and maxed out at 468rwkw

they are indeed genuine Bosch injectors, part numbers match to other identical ev14 1000cc injectors

they are actually a 55lb injector Bosch then modify

look back a page or 2  and can see the flow amounts I posted a while back and we tested them all the way up to 80psi where they still flowed fine and extremely equal to each other and Gary who tested them said straight away when testing that there not fakes

I asked around and 2 other people both in blowen ls engines have maxed them out on e85 around the 440-460 rwkw mark from memory and there did not flow even close to 1000cc either

I believe most sellers have the info mixed up and there 1000cc at 4bar not 1000cc at 3 bar like advertised

I won’t be buying any injectors of eBay that’s for sure

It could well be, the non return LS stuff I believe runs at  about 60psi /4 bar.

Been a long time since I last posted, since then I have driven the car a heap, and then few months ago it under sent more surgery

it now is painted in a wild colour shifting paint that I did at home my self in a home made spray booth

Also with cars comes great fellow rev head mates, iv become good friends with tuners engine builders, drag racers and so on, one of who decided he would teach me how to build my engine, so out it come, tore down found caps where walking, almost sheared the key way and the rings where completly wrong for the set up, so it now has splayed 4 bolts, dual key way and In hendrys performance work shop over a few days i learnt all I could about bolting bottom ends together so now the only thing I haven’t done on this car is the internals of gear box and diff

also so I sold off the t56 Manual and it is now th400 with a 4000rpm stall

car will I’ll be fired up next week when I get tail shaft

    Been a long time

car now runs a harrop 2650 blower, it hammers hard, torque is up there at 1850 nm, makes 630rwhp on 14 psi and 16 degrees timing in it, air temps are bit warm so goin to work on that, few things to tidy up like water lines and and few other bits and pieces, hopefully get to take it to the strip soon when it opens back up

iv forgotten how to even load photos on to here
