As per my VS thread, I have moved the old girl on and upgraded to this.

Model: Series II VE SSV Z Series

    Year: 9/12
    Colour: Chlorophyll
    Motor: L77 6.0

    Exhaust: Stock
    Gearbox: M6
    Diff : LSD

Brakes: Brembo fronts, ABS< ESP etc
    Power : 270kw (new)
    Suspension : FE3
    Interior : Leather
    Rims : 20″ Pentagons
    Bodykit : SS
    Kilometres: 59531 (at purchase)
    Owned Since: 7/17

While I will miss the sound and feel of the old 5 litre, this is many levels above and I’m sure it will keep me happy.

Enjoying being back in a manual after 19 yrs with an auto. My last manual was my VK 5 litre M21. This is a different beast to drive compared to that !

The SSV Z Series was the runout model of the Redline at the end of the VE production run prior to the introduction of VF so has all the usual Redline features including front Brembos, sat nav, leather etc plus FE3 suspension, Sunroof and “Z Series” badging & mats.

Anyway, enough rambling, time for pics.

It is an interesting colour that’s for sure.

Depending on the light it will be a certain shade of blue or green. It is classed as green and recorded as such on the rego papers but be buggered if I can capture any green in pics. The day I took those last outdoor pics, it was looking green IRL.
