The tubs are well worth the extra work.As you know there is not a lot of traction down the back.

In my opinion sway bars, true trac and wider rubber with tubs are a great combination.Power down out of corners is excellent. Before, i was always waiting for the back end to step out without much help from the right foot.

No intercooler.Running an Aquamist water/meth system.

How did you fit rear sway bar? As i didnt think utes came with them, my one does not have one.

How long does the tank of meth injection last for? Want to charge my ute and keep twin throttles so going intercooler will be hard to do. Are you on vn ss i am sure i have seen this ute some place else

How much were the DMS coilover and shocks?

Also as far as I’m aware yaman, only the SS utes didn’t have a rear sway bar.

I thought all 2nd gen utes came with front and rear sway bars standard like mine.Looks like the ss utes never had a rear bar as GMH-304 said. Why Holden would delete it is beyond me.

How long a tank of water/meth lasts depends on how long your on boost for and where your activation point is,how much horsepower, number of nozzles. In other words variable lol. From memory i think your spraying 10% to 15% of fuel flow.My system sprays on demand through injector duty cycle.Once activated it will spray more w/m as fuel demand increases. The ute gave me the opportunity to mount a large tank for track days when usage is high and i don’t want to carry extra mix.

I went w/m over intercooler for a number of reasons but what i think will work for me,won’t be for others.

Yeh Slow that’s me on vn ss.

They are an Aussie made quality set up so there not cheap, but they are rebuildable/serviceable,have 50mm slider tubes and are independently adjustable for bump and rebound. Also allow  for camber change at base of coilover with eccentric bushes.

RRP $5,552.00     I paid $3,560.00 as they were having a 30% off promotion for being in business for 30 years.I think the xyz stuff is around $1,800.00,so about double for the DMS kit.

    Some pics.

And the XYZ aren’t independently adjustable for bump/rebound.  So I guess you get what you pay for.   For what you pay I think the XYZ are pretty good though, but the DMS are up another level.

Do either of you fellas know what spring poundage you have in the coilovers that XYZ supply?

I left it to the experts to select what they thought would be best,so the fronts ended up 700lbs.Should of had more input as i think these will be a bit  harsh on the street lol.Might have to get another set made up around half that rating, but will test drive first.
